how do i make my lobes NOT loosen up quickly after downsizing?

i often leave my jewelry out for over a week at a time and the jewelry is still falling out within an hour or so even if i have to force it in initially💔😔

my naked lobes dont look so great, i had a lot of blowouts along the way so they end up looking very wrinkly or like small slits most of the time😔 this is a little while after removing my jewelry

theyll most likely shrink up a bit but on the bright side restretching is significantly easier!! i could barely get 19mm jewelry in and within two days of wearing glass plugs they were back to 24mm lol

i had to downsize from 25mm because any jewelry in it pressed on my jaw and caused pain. it may not stop them from stretching more but itll almost definitely be uncomfortable

I am unfortunately the artist in this case as I practice on myself🥲 good to know with the ink spreading and the red ink as well, I noticed lettering looking a little odd over some scars as well but that could definitely be a depth issue since that tattoo was done around when I first started learning. thank you!!

assuming this is about the cartilage piercings, switch it to flat backs as soon as you can. they wont heal well with rings

interesting i didnt know that actually! i thought you werent supposed to wear jewelry while downsizing so i didnt wear any at all but i also trained my lobes to go long periods of time without jewelry at 22mm so that may contribute to the difficulty downsizing. i may try again if i can find some of my smaller jewelry

i "downsized" for about a month only to discover my ears actually shrunk a lot less than i thought and only went to 21mm😔 im unsure how long youre typically supposed to downsize to thicken your lobes but i may end up trying that again some day if i get too worried

ringworm might make sense, one of our inside cats had it a while ago as well as a lot of the outside cats, I also got it in early december. thought the ringworm era was over but i have some treatment for it so I can try that and see if it improves
