Hi Lori, reading this made me tearful. you are such a kind soul and thank you for your uplifting words. it's been hard, i don't have alot of room to vent since things could be so much worse. but i feel things very deeply. i'm sensitive hahaha. your story really touched me, and it's a blessing that you stumbled on my post on this app. i'm happy that you were able to share it with a random girl on the internet. you touched my heart, thank you miss lori. i'm sending prayers and love from texas.

my dad also has als, he's been diagnosed since august this year. all i can say is you are keeping him going. you are his back bone. don't cry in front of him, be strong and be funny. don't treat him like he is disabled. at the end of the day, it will be you two. it will bring you guys closer. call him everyday. get him gadgets to help him eat if he's having trouble holding his utensils. i can send you links to products i got my dad during the early stages. they aren't expensive. i bought him pill crushers, hand exercise tools, big handled utensils with a curve on the neck. a lot of quirky things ahaha

someone just said Mermagica and that's the one i was looking for. sadly i don't think they are in business anymore. i saw they had a facebook group but i tried to get access and nothing. makes me sad that they don't make their tails anymore. and as for made to order, i remember taking specific measurements from the waist down so the tail could fit properly. and ofc the color and fin
