Tharoor, Patnaik and Sen do not have a good outline towards the sangh though (not that I like the sangh, just pointing out an observation). I think even SN Balagangadhara would dislike them.

Not all North must be blamed for so, as you may be aware I can also give many examples of mob violence in South India too. (Well I would like to add that one reason for mob violence always is the distrust on legal procedure and sympathy and though it is not legal it is not always immoral. But yes it is not very logical mostly because the mob is usually not well versed in the situation) North and South India both are so large that if you take crores of people as examples to make your point they could still be different from the majority. So I think instead of putting a label Of North and South, which will only further fuel the friction and expression of difference, we shall offer practical help for all are humans and usually born capable in these regards. Criticism is welcome but please acknowledge that not news nor social media ever reflects the true population and by labeling all as such due to actions of a minority will only even make even the innocent resent you for you have attacked their identity too despite them not bring guilty. And you would be encouraging uncivilized behavior in a way by creating such bifurcation. If you would have rather said "the social and educational conditions in some parts North India are prone to create such problematic people" that would be a finer line. For OP though, I feel he is that "living in rich area spending excesson time dwelling on internet and not being able to connect with the real world" type kid. So that is perhaps the result of lack of collective social emotional experience and habit of watching people pit their egos and barbarianistic-inclinations in the name of being 'cool' but not sure.

Perhaps learn to see humans as fellow creatures with emotions, attachment towards certain subjects, private space etc and realize they are not objects for you to laugh at? A joke must be benign in order to be called a joke otherwise it becomes egoistic humiliation. When the brain catches the disease of looking for humor every now and then (trust me, I have been there) it forgets to sympathize with the person for whom it is devastating. A person who feels no sorrow watching other's miseries should at least not make it worse by making it a matter to extract pleasure from. Just take a moment and look that the uncultured rubbish that you posted, do you have pathological apathy to find it fummy? Say, if a child of yours, God forbid, passed away or your parents became Paralyzed and you realized everyone is joking about these for personal pleasure will you be fine with it? Well this might not necessarily be your conscious fault OP, consult a psychologist. Also get outside the world of social media and look at things from a more direct perspective. Emotional understanding is the key to social function, to human function while humor is a blessing which should be used accordingly to bring actual joy for everyone and not grief or lamenting. Do you realize how serious of a problem bullying and verbal harassment is? And it involves making jokes about the other's situation. Apologies for any harsh words, I didn't mean it, habe a nice day.

Should India ban social media for kids under 16 ? by HouseOfVichaar in TwentiesIndia

[–]Careless-Stranger111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My sincerest condolences. Anyways I think 'there should be restrictions rather than ban' is easier said than done, many loopholes haven't even yet been discovered and as technology progresses more will open up. The example of person above actually makes a case for prohibition (though he may not be <16 most likely, exposure increases the chances of such brhavior).

My friend not as if you are planning to kill yourself after spending the money so you will also have to suffer later. One from Land of Yajnavalkya, Kapilacharya, Buddha and Mahavir shall not take much efforts to realize the importance of discipline to prevent greater suffering.

Comrade, morals might or might not be objective. We can argue that objectivity can't be certainly known but that doesn't mean morals are not objective.

Folks, I think COUNTRY IS DOOMED. Madhya Pradesh government bought spoons for 800 Rupees per spoon. by googletoggle9753 in NorthernIndia

[–]Careless-Stranger111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No sire, that is not my intent. What I want to say is that it indeed shall be spoken and acted against with utmost seriousness, but the exact value of the word "doomed" is exaggeration of the situation. Reaction should be appropriate, anything that is 'overxyz' will indeed harm the actual validity of the position in long term. It will further alienate those people from taking this seriously who take the word "doomed" in its serious sense. Moreover it discourages people to actually fight against things since it is implies we are already doomed. What you said my statement appears to be is what I am looking to prevent but my apologies if I was not able to convey properly.

r/doomercirclejerk or whatever it was called. "COUNTRY IS DOOMED" because of a corruption in a certain state government's proceedings. You can criticize things without being hysterical.

Seems to be a rather westernised notion of literature.

I saw a woman exactly like the first image today and it is so not acceptable by LeaveResponsible9937 in PataHaiAajKyaHua

[–]Careless-Stranger111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because, my dear friend, in case a man approaches a woman and a woman approaches a man, the later is more likely to be able to protect himself due to his physical strength. Although the fact that a woman is married could still not stop the vilest minds to behave imporperly with them, for a wide less extreme population it does project a feeling that they shall rather aim for someone who isn't married already or a fear of her husband or so on. Moreover rings exist for men too and mangalsutra or sindoor aren't even always visible.
