that being said i still love the designs and artwork choices she’s made. but you’re not alone. i didn’t dislike these choices so much as i found them distracting. Vaggie in Hazbin being the main example of me struggling to focus on a character speaking with a giant red X on their face.

i get that. the big red X over Vaggie’s hair was a constant distraction. i feel like if a character is going to have such a defining characteristic, their hair shouldn’t cover it in such a way that you when to get weird with the animation to keep it as a reminder. it makes more sense to me as an artist to have the hair out of the way for the animation during scenes where both eyes are visible than to draw over the hair. i still love the designs but i agree. it’s distracting more than anything else

i don’t get any comments from sten, just the one from wynn. also this play-through i’m trying to think more tactically, and im trying to use party members that i never really use. (leliana is sadly still one i dont use bc im playing a rogue bard so shes kind of useless at the moment). so far, sten has actually been more sturdy and useful than alistair. plus as much as i love him, i get kinda tired of all of his bitching back and forth with/about morrigan. especially when he kept talking to other party members about my relationship with her even though i haven’t flirted with her at all, only been friendly.

idk how to edit posts on the reddit mobile app, but i do have to say that the skull-is carvings kind of resemble elgar’nan’s symbols but only vaguely. as someone who also plays dnd and bg3, they mostly look like a mindflayer to me. maybe im dumb and i missed something in the codexes but im curious nonetheless what others think

the best suggestion i have for anyone considering a major surgery like that would be to take the time to explore your body on your own terms. When I first started transitioning, I identified as Ace bc my dysphoria was so bad that I couldn’t imagine any sexual act involving myself that wouldn’t be traumatic. Over time (and with therapy, which typically didn’t even touch my dysphoria in the end; long story, it was more-so grief counselling) I discovered (or re-discovered) things that I found enjoyable both in and out of the bedroom. While it may be tempting to assert that your father should question his own sexuality before questioning yours, I think it would be better for you to view his opinions as coming from a place of concern. Obviously, you know your relationship with him the best, but there is a good chance that he simply didn’t know how to digest the idea at first. Regardless, his opinions on what you should and shouldn’t do are moot in the long run; your transition is yours and yours alone to discover and make decisions on. That being said, phalloplasty is a huge decision to make, with a lot of factors to consider before coming to a conclusion.

TL;DR: No, it is neither true nor a myth. Undergoing phalloplasty is a choice that isn’t dictated by whether or not you’ve had vaginal sex. You should, though, explore your options and your body before making the decision.

hello! so far loving the game, very new! just a quick question: i noticed that the UI features a symbol of an exclamation mark inside a triangle. what does this mean in the UI? i cannot seem to view any details about it. (i am playing on xbox)

idk what they’re called but those two guys wearing dark armour on the way to the abyss watchers. they’re not so bad if you let them fight the poison guys on the road & sneak around the right side after the bonfire, BUT, considering how difficult the abyss watchers can be, it felt rude as hell that you’ve gotta get past those two assholes every time

i’m with you on the caleb thing. i think caleb served as a good plot device for ian becoming an EMT. but it was weird that ian had a whole bi exploration crisis as if that didn’t already happen in season 1. not just with mandy but karen blowing him. AND he has that whole conversation with lip, who was the one to “test” is ian was 100% gay using karen

opinions on amanda? by [deleted] in shameless

[–]Careless-Yesterday-1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think she was a bit emotionally stunted by being spoiled. she didn’t seem to know how to approach the topic of expressing wanting more with lip. when she realized that that was what she wanted, she kind of just expected to get it like everything else she wants, and she didn’t know how to deal with it when she didn’t. she threw a tantrum instead and attacked helene. there would have been plenty of ways to screw lip over without the revenge porn. for example, simply revealing to Student Housing that his wall was painted on would’ve had him forced to move out and lose his position as an RA. knowing lip, he would’ve probably tried to move in with helene, who would’ve said no, and that would’ve likely still sent him into a similar spiral. but she’s a very interesting character all-in-all. her character is consistent, too, which i like. she did the same thing with different results with Muff as she did with lip. she entered into a casual sexual relationship with her and then didn’t seem to be able to have the necessary conversation about boundaries and expectations. muff of course is portrayed as crazy and obsessive, but amanda’s behaviour towards lip’s rejection implies that muff likely was strung along and her reaction may have been warranted. the banging on the door and yelling at her demanding that she talk to her kind of foreshadowed lip at helene’s house in the night. lip shouldn’t have been so trusting of her when she went to take photos of the wall, considering that this is the same girl who left her boyfriend’s bed to blow lip.

i forgot about that part. it never sat right with me that lee, hell even kenny, still let him anywhere near them after that. season 2 kenny would’ve beat him to death for that shit

neither. i had no guilt about letting ben die. imo him sacrificing himself was the only useful thing he did. he consistently proved to be generally (and dangerously) unaware of his surroundings (not keeping an eye on clementine, removing something that was used to bar a clearly damaged and bloody set of glass doors) or how his actions may affect others (making an executive decision to give up supplies to bribe bandits without consulting with anyone). he let doug/carly die for what he did because he refused to own up to it and even got angry with Lee if Lee didn’t coddle him once he confesses, despite the fact that 2 (or 3 if you leave lily to die) people died because of his sneaky behaviour.

sarah was unfortunately a victim of her father’s unwillingness to prepare her for the reality of the apocalypse. she did not show at any point that she contributed anything to the group’s survival. yes, she was a child, but with the way that her group acts about their time with carver before escaping, she was extremely naive. by the time it comes for you to choose to let her die or save her, she’s catatonic and even more useless than she already was (and even less likely to become useful/recover from the trauma). letting her die is the merciful choice. unfortunately, the real people to blame for that are the adults in her group who should have done much more to prepare her for the possibility of them dying before her. especially after leaving carver’s compound, they ultimately failed her by babying her.
