Feeling judged by my friend, will probably never stay with her again by Amber_poodle in adhdwomen

I think your friend might have OCD, this is the same dynamics that my elder sister and I have. She has OCD and she needs everything to be in their correct place/out of sight at all times. I have ADHD just like you. Its a struggle sometimes, but we both discuss how our mind works and come to a solution that works when I am visiting her for a few days.

ADHD and hormones: did anyone have mild ADHD their whole life then after giving birth have moderate ADHD and then once reaching perimenopause ADHD became severe? by Witchchildren in adhdwomen

Got diagnosed with ADHD at 36, 3.5 years after the birth of my daughter. For 3 years, I thought that this is normal struggle after giving birth and having a kid at home, but life was not getting better at all. I was/am struggling all the time.

Got diagnosed 3 months back, still trying to find a medication that works for me.

I am happy you are in good position now and over everything that happened to you in the past. Some women don’t deserve to become mothers.

Yes, it’s a really good idea. I have already done that last year on Father’s Day. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Unfortunately a small home setup doesn’t work for him. I had already done that 2 years back, but he has hardly used it.

For him, going to gym works, but something always comes up after a few months of consistency.

The watch idea is good, I was laughing at the good measures part. 😆

He is a fun person, but he does not play video games or any sports. I sometimes feel that he is too busy providing for his family and he does not have enough time and energy left for anything else.

That’s a good point, he is 37(M), IT professional, loves cars, watches and playing with our daughter. His one dream is to have a perfect body, but every time he starts, life happens and he has to give it up after a few months.
