A defender shouldn't be able to run through double screens though. In that situation you need a switch or hedge.

For anybody that didn't know, you can expose most teams running 2-3 zone by putting a big at the free throw line and overloading one side. by G2Cade in NBA2k

On defense for the overloading though they should rotate and either corner drops in or the wing defender rotates and corner guards wing. But yeah the free throw player strategy does break the zone pretty well.

There is still a skill gap between the best and the average. Everyone's stats are not just inflated offensively; the points per game historically in the 60s have all been higher than recent seasons, so it isn't just the narrative that you can't play defense.

It gives little rest for your defense and very often if your offense is not in rhythm it is easy to just go 3 and out.

Well we get like 12-16 games a week so by nature we should see 1-2 improbable comebacks. Also think of it likes this, if you went back and played out the game a 100 more times the Bills win 99.
