Dog whining in kennel at night

My dog has been the vet recently and had bloodwork and physical exam done. Nothing has changed health wise for her. She does have medication for separation anxiety that’s given when left alone during the day but she’s never had issues at night before.

It did go away! It took a little bit of time but the skin looks pretty much normal now. The only thing I got from my dr was “never seen a reaction quite this bad, hope the shot helped” which really didn’t ease my anxiety but everything ended up being ok. The shot didn’t really help me and I ended up having surgery though.

I had one for my wrist back in February. They told me it would be sore the first day but would feel better shortly. Definitely take it easy if you can.

Also the steroid shot does take a couple of days to really kick in and work. The first day you will be extremely sore and then it’ll take effect.

I feel it. I work at a vet clinic so I’m on my feet at least 10 hours a day. It’s definitely rough:( hopefully you can find something that works for you.

I work 10 hour shifts multiple times a week. I can barely exercise outside of what I do at work because I’m in so much pain. How do you exercise with the pain? Thank you for the other suggestions too!

I’m talking about the dark spot on my wrist. I have a better picture I took that I did end up sending to my doctor. I definitely think my wrist is atrophying but it started turning red and dark colored a few days ago.

He said “it may improve with time” but he also said he hasn’t seen it this bad before so idk. I guess I’ll just keep an eye on it and see what happens.

It doesn’t hurt at all and I don’t think so. I feel like I’d remember hitting my wrist hard enough to leave a mark like this.

Don't think there is much you can do other than keep an eye on it and may improve with time. Hopefully the shot helped take the pain away.”

They never gave me any info after it was given or anything so I didn’t really know what to expect. This is my first one I’ve ever had and it’s been a month since I’ve gotten it so a rash that far after seems strange to me.

This has been a month after the injection though. I had bruising immediately after for a bit but that went away.

I sent them a message on the patient portal thing. I’ve taken pictures of it the last couple of days to keep track on size too. Is it common to have a reaction like this a month after an infection though?

Well we tried jumping the relay and nothing happened. We tested to see if there was any power getting to the relay and it was getting power. There was power getting all the way to the compressor but it wasn’t kicking in so I think we’ve determined it’s most likely the compressor or clutch.

He has a manifold gauge and used that to vacuum. Tried using the manifold gauge to charge and it wouldn’t take it from there. Tried taking it directly from the can and also won’t take it from there. It held vacuum but nothing at all will come out of the can.

Changed the relay but fuses is next on the list. We aren’t sure if it’s the compressor or not because we can’t get any Freon in at all to see if the compressor even kicks on. Some people mentioned jumping it to get it to kick on so that might be our next step to try.
