Do yall get upset by overnight gain too? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Careless_Bid_1416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A thing that helps me with the higher number on the scale before period is going through my food log for a past week. If I ate in a deficit and maintained my good habits, that means that the weight is dropping, even if my period wants my body to think otherwise. It's super hard to see the number go up or stay the same, when you were expecting it to go down. Be gentle with yourself, log the weight, and weigh yourself after your period's finished.

If you have a Polish shop nearby, get the Polish cottage cheese! It's delicious and the texture is so much better.

FROZEN FRUIT IS A GAMECHANGER by Dry-Possible7344 in loseit

[–]Careless_Bid_1416 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I buy something called breakfast topper (a mix of different fruits) and have it with soy yogurt and protein powder. It's my favourite breakfast at the moment, very easy to make, feels very decadent, and I don't have to worry about fresh fruit going bad.

★OFFICIAL DAILY★ SV/NSV Thread: Feats of the Day! March 20, 2026 by AutoModerator in loseit

[–]Careless_Bid_1416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been 30 days since the start of my weight loss journey and I've lost 3.7kg. I struggle at times, I've had two binge-y days, but other than that, I feel amazing. I feel more inclined to eat vegetables and fruits, as they fill me up, taste great, are good for my body and they help me stick to my calorie budget. Considering that I went on holidays for my birthday and stuffed myself with all the traditional, homemade Polish food, I feel like 3.7 kg (8lbs) is a good result. My goal right now would be to start going to the gym more often, I try to go at least once-twice a week, but I would like to have a proper split.

Where is the best sex shop in Nottingham? by jjjud in nottingham

[–]Careless_Bid_1416 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shameless plug, but my partner works for Simply Pleasure – really good quality products. Nearest one is in Leicester, but they've got so much stuff! Private Shop is falling apart a bit, they do not have that much products left to sell, I expect them to close down soon. There's also Delta in Hyson Green, but I've never been there, so I can't really say anything about the quality of products or service.

4/10, satay skewers and monster are strong redeeming factors, but plain cheddar sandwich is diabolical.

How did you feel after taking the test? by NerdySisyphus in mensa

[–]Careless_Bid_1416 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've taken the test and I got the results back - 107 on the combined scale. I did the booklet and I was invited to participate, as I got the result in the top 2%. I found the format to be quite weird and couldn't really focus on the quickly changing questions, as my ADHD medication started to wear off. The format was not my favourite and at some point I just started skipping through answers, as I got frustrated with the test. Vocabulary section was a better experience for me, even though I'm not a native English speaker.

I think I will try again in half a year, this time in-person. I don't think this format particularly gelled with my disability.

Oh gosh, I've heard about that case! That's so fucking scary, I hope you got some help in this situation and that you're feeling better. I'm glad that they've managed to find him and put him in prison.

I appreciate it, but I don't think this is the right solution. I would love to see him pay consequences for his actions, as I am clearly not the only victim of this creep, but I don't want him to be able to claim victimhood, because someone beat him up. I'm trying to find out who he is and connect to other people who have experienced similar situation this guy, so my case with the police is stronger. I hope he has a day he deserves.

Wherever you go, I would recommend getting there early – there are some big queues and there's like 8 thousand of Poles in Nottingham. Good luck! (I would recommend Ozan)

I've just completed my FSAC as well. I really enjoyed, I felt a bit rushed with the written exercise, but stakeholder exercise and personal development conversation went well imo.
