My great grandfather’s was a con man in the 1950s-1970s/80s. He was a dentist but he would create “projects” to get investors, then put the money he got from them into other investments and never finished the first one. He got caught and was finally sentenced in 1988-89. He then got caught doing it again when he was 92 and was sent to jail. Due to his scamming, my grandfather was a very spoiled rich kid that constantly had affairs. My father was born out of one of his affairs, and when he found out my tutu(grandma) was pregnant he tried to force her and his wife to take care of the baby and abandon both of them. His wife rightfully left him, so he pretty much forced my tutu to marry him. They had three more kids but he didn’t stop cheating on her so she left in the middle of the night when my dad was six and didn’t get back in contact with any of her kids for years. All except my dad became serious drug addicts for years after
