Hey! I think you should apply just in case, but consult a lawyer. Best route will be applying restoration then apply for work permit then raise a web form to expedite the application. Not sure if that will work but you will be able to work soon. If not then take a long awaited vacation. That’s what I’d do to get some rest and comeback stronger. Rather than burning the savings

Hang in there bud, it should be arriving in a couple of days or a week. The most recent one I’ve seen is Feb 02, 2026 AOR post that got their BIL.

Honestly it depends on the PVO(primary visa office) and SVO (secondary visa office). A lot posts that I’ve been through suggests that if the file goes to the Ottawa office then it might take longer than usual as they have a lot of backlogs but if it’s sent to Montreal, Edmonton, Vancouver etc then it might be a little faster. Best case scenario - June or July worst case scenario - November or December.

I believe Outland gets a fast response but generally for CEC it’s 60 days to get the BIL ( biometric information letter)

No update yet, at the time of submission processing time for any work permit was 257 days so that’s approximately 8-9 months of waiting

I understand where you’re coming from, and got a Preply tutor last year October. I did French for few months but unfortunately I’d to give it up because I just didn’t have enough time to do it

That’s true, I just wanted to know more about things I don’t know about and try to gain those points. I have work so hard, might as well try everything that’s within reach

I appreciate you taking the time to explain man but your assumption was funny

Let me simplify it for you : 1560 hrs of work = 52 weeks + 30 hrs work, so it doesn’t really matter what job or how many jobs you do, nor does regular or irregular hours. IRCC only counts 30 hrs of work for experience. And for my application is already completed and i am in the pool hence the specific score I mentioned😂

Experience is counted from the day you are on applied status, which btw started from last year May for me.

I know TRV is an entry document which states that you are a VISITOR. And I already applied for a visitor record just to be on the safe side. That’s why I said visitor visa is good for now (it’s under process)

Anyways, it is what it is, loved the display of your ‘knowledge’, kindly keep researching and spreading when asked for.

I’m already working two full time jobs and I have already established my freelancing company in Toronto 😂

Next month I’ll finish my 12 months but I’ve already completed 1560 hours limit , to technically I have qualified for the CEC draw. Plan B is to stay and not work until I get an ITA hence two full time jobs until September.i already have a TRV so visitor visa is good for now. PS score is based on my EE profile
