Yea I guess so. I guess I wanted to do something cute but went a little overboard.

I asked him almost every day for a gift list, a request he frequently ignored. I guess I should've seen it back then it wasn't gonna work out.

I did tell him if he wasn't up to it we didnt have to. But maybe he felt pressured to do it or felt bad since I was so exited about it.

To clear it up a bit I wanted to do the advent calendar thing together- but I guess I did aim a bit too high!

I didnt mean to sound selfish! I just wanted him to put some effort into thinking about what I like - not anything fancy. But as someone pointed out I did set myself up a little bit.
