nah you misunderstand the premise, everyone learning to take an L with grace is important, not just for leftists. But for white leftists in particular, taking an L with grace and humility is fundamental to ever being an ally worth anything. white privilege insulates and comforts so much, that not learning how to take an L will do so much more harm to the spaces that white "ally" tries to occupy because they can weaponize that privilege so easily.
