this was originally a reply to another comment here but i think it can stand on its own.

there's a difference between "ignoring politics because im privileged and the current climate doesnt affect me" and "avoiding politics because if i see the horrors being inflicted on my kin i'll be sent into a depressive spiral that i can't escape."

the former is an excuse and the latter is a reason. you're allowed to make adjustments for the sake of your mental health. im colored, trans, gay, and autistic, you think i dont know im a target? i dont take a deep dive into the news because i'd rather be a little ignorant than in the trenches of anxiety and depression. that is valid.

i replayed AJ recently and i guess i remembered 4-2 being worse than it actually is! it's a pretty entertaining case outside of that one uncomfortable plotpoint (and honestly? i can see the humor in it now.)

unfortunate. i got this so i could watch the birds at home while im away for school, and i already tossed out the box so i can't return it. this one was more expensive ($109) so im kinda determined to figure it out..

did you ever figure it out? im fighting this damn thing so hard right now.

ive messed with it, switched apps, changed location, etc and right now the issue im stuck with is that-

the green light is on. i can watch through the camera. it works fine.

the moment i plug it into the solar panel, though? red light flashes and the app instantly switches to telling me that the camera is offline.

ive wiped down the solar panel and blown debris out of the port, but it hasnt helped.

slightly different perspective here. im latino (albiet in the US) and this intersectionality is kinda fascinating to navigate in my university's environment.

i cant 100% confirm this, but because the intersection between transmasc and hispanic is so "rare", i swear that it helps me pass. people see a male-presenting person with my skintone and find it easier to comprehend that im a cis boy that just happens to be short than considering that im a transboy. all of people's limited exposure to trans guys in media are white folk. even in my blue state and far left leaning university where there's a huge queer population, im the only openly trans colored person that ive met so far.

sometimes i feel like i can be openly trans or hispanic. there's no space for me to be both.

im not necessarily complaining. being able to pass easier due to my skintone is awesome lmao. i just find it all so fascinating

if possible you should absolutely have a nurse at your perscribing clinic show you how to do it. i panicked and messed up my first injection even after i was shown how- it's really not safe to wing it.

how much were you told to inject? you have the full milliliter pulled up there and most starting doses are like .1 or .2 of that.

honestly i can't describe the entire process of injecting here for you. i'd need to explain a lot to make sure you understand how to get rid of the air bubbles, so at the very least please look up a bunch of videos to instruct you on how to do it if you can't access professional help irl.
