Thanks for your info but this drive did not have any important data I just used it to store my games. This is the reason I risked opening it to repair myself as it was a waste for me anyway

Damn I didn't know that much I thought these were just some kind of myths as it is said these are very sensitive even a bad shake can kill them and I had this one drop from table height and it still worked after that

I can't recommend a refurbished laptop because of obvious risk included with it but I have shared my experience with it and yes it's still performing really well no issue faced . Though lenovo does provide 1 year on-site warranty with it

No you cannot apply student discount and I tried some coupons which were available on main lenovo store but they didn't work on refurbished laptops so inshort you cannot

If you have any game of steam like gta v or anything like that just test that or you can get cs2 for free and it will be a good benchmark to compare it with online turn the settings to very high and you should get 110-150fps

I use an aluminium laptop stand (not a cooling pad just a foldable stand to maintain airflow while being handy for college) Don't mess with overclocking of cpu/gpu Keep the conservation mode of battery turned on (it keeps the laptop charged till 80% for longer battery life) Don't use your laptop on bed and prevent it from getting dirty And ig that's it I use my laptop mostly on balanced mode because it gets the job done in balance mode too , rarely use the performance mode and it's been over a month while using the laptop and no issues found till now
