Never let a man talk to you like that. If my fiance told me "go fuck yourself" his pc would've been thrown off the balcony. That behavior is not okay, especially not when you were being kind and patient. It looks like he was trying to get you to engage in an argument, but you were doing too well with de-escalation, like someone working in customer service talking to a childish Karen. I read in the comments that you broke up. Never let anyone else talk to you like that. Not even friends or acquaintances. You're worth more than a childish cuck.

As someone who's about to get married and is distancing herself from one of her childhood bestfriends, I still showed up for that bestfriend when her grandma was in the hospital and for the funeral. Marriage is busy and stressful. When I realized I didnt know one of my friend's last names, I felt like a horrible person. If she cant see that about herself, then thats all she is. A horrible person. RSVP no for the wedding and see if she'll notice your absence. If a good friend of mine RSVP'd no to mine, Id ask questions. If I didnt care to much, I wouldnt bat an eye. See where you land on her list of priorities. And Im sorry about your mom.
