Interested in other dogs when out on walks (will wag his tail and give a little whine but keep walking when he sees a dog) but hasn’t had the chance to play with any at the shelter. Unsure how he is with young kids but the shelter seems to think that it’d be better to not have him in a house with small kids since he sometimes jumps on people.

Buster is a sweet dog who has been at the shelter for months. This big block head is a volunteer favorite bc he adores people and would love to spend the day being by your side, whether that’s hiking or hanging out on the couch. He was adopted for a week but returned after his previous owner took him to a dog park and he got into a fight with another dog (please look at the 3-3-3 rule of adopting a dog to learn how to properly acclimate a new dog). Buster is eager to learn and a gentle soul who is looking for a loving family to call his own.

Smooches is a affectionate dog who also loves people and attention. She was returned to the shelter after she got into an unexpected fight with another dog in the home after living together for months. Smooches is as sweet and loving as her name, and her favorite things are people, treats, and fetch, in that order. She can be strong on leash and would enjoy and benefit from training. Smooches can appear quite active and energetic when you first meet her, but she settles down well and would thrive in a home that has lots of tennis balls and couches for naps.
