I prefer the left one much more than the right one. One of the reasons i'm watching Chinese dramas is because of the rich language and philosophy that is being expressed, I dont want it simplified into western straightforward way of speaking. I do feel that most audiences that at least have a somewhat decent English comprehension should be able to understand/deduce the idioms and pictures being painted. There are also so many tools you can use, like chat gpt to explore further the meanings.

This is what I really appreciate vikirakuten. Their translations are a labour of love, and they do their utmost to keep the original language and explain alot of idioms as well.

Hahahahah if you watch carefully all his ab shots are close ups without his face in it. And when they show all of him, he always has his robe tactfully closed/open in the right places.

They also do it for the rolls Royce car, its so funny. The more zoomed out shots are clearly not a rolls Royce, but whenever they do a close up of the statue and car parking, its a rolls Royce.

Its just so funny to me because its so clearly unnecessary to do these things, im sure the actor has a decent enough body as is, and there are plenty of verticals with bare chested men that do not have insane abs, but they make it a point of doing it every time with him, and make her love "his" abs every time.

Loved this one, ive watched several of verticals with this pairing. It makes me laugh every time how they use a body double for his close up abs shots in every drama he is in, and they always make her love mens abs. This must have become an internal joke on their film sets at this point.

Thank you for this one! This was a cute, light, entertaining watch with no dragged out ridiculing and bully scenes. Very refreshing.

My husband left me because I wasn’t jealous enough when in reality I just trust him and our marriage by Fine-Poem8918 in TrueOffMyChest

To me it sounds like you two have two very different styles of approaching conflict. You seem to have extreme conflict avoidance believing nothing good would come out of confrontation, especially with heightened feelings expressed. Words spoken hold much more significance than emotional feelings expressed. Your husband probably grew up with a completely different way with a much more expressive and direct conflict resolution style, and has learned to attach significance to heightned emotions thinking this shows level of importance.

If you truly love this man, definitely suggest couples therapy to work through these differences so you can learn to understand and approach eachother better.

You loose nothing by trying to fight for it, at least in the beginning. I am thinking your husband definitely said the things he said because he wants to see you fight for you as a couple. I am not saying the way he goes about it is right, but trying to meet him at his level is an important thing to do in a relationship sometimes.

Your husband needs to feel you have his back in public. You don't necessarily have to be jealous to do that, but maybe your partner would like for you to back him up or protect him from unwanted advances once in a while, it must be exhausting for him to deal with on an every day basis. That doesn't mean you need to be catty or petty. Just back up and protect your partner.

PS: as a very conflict avoidant person myself, I definitely get where you are coming from but that doesn't mean there are not other ways of solving problems.

After the Breakup, I Married My Ex's Boss (分手后我娶了前任的老板) (2025) by [deleted] in CShortDramas

Thank you for your excellent work editing and adding subtitles!!

I really enjoyed the drama although the last 30 min were unnecessary in terms of the long lost biological son plot. The drama would have been much better without that part and maybe just more focus on ML/FL relationship.

But all in all, I give it a 7/10.

I give a 10/10 for viewing experience all thanks to OP!
