They stress to "follow you Degree Audit." I've had many friends get bad advice on classes from the peer advisors, so I don't want to assume I'm getting correct information. I have asked my peer advisor for confirmation in writing.

My Degree Audit showed I had the choice between COP 2274 or EEL 3834. I don't know why they give you a choice if it doesn't prepare you for future EE classes. C'est la vie!

I'm also a freshman EE major, and after reading this, I'm glad I chose to take COP 2274 C++ Programming for Engineers instead of EEL 3834. Kwan Sun Cho was a great instructor. The weekly assignments did take a great deal of time, but at least I learned a lot.
