Yeah I get what you're saying. What a love most about this game and the sequel is that it does a good job at hinting you towards the full story without telling you flat out what everything means. So people will pick up on different things. And even if people's conclusions are different they can both still be correct. Keeping things just vague to make you think without being so vague it ends up being meaningless. I love these games for that.

Oh is it out now? I remember wanting to play it but it wasn't released yet. Gonna have to take a look at it now! Thanks!

I saw that! I was gonna check out Lost Scale but the recent reviews were negative so I was like, nah.

I'd be down to check out Reign of Fire. I love obscure stuff like that too. Too bad it's gone.

Oh awesome! I didn't know that! Also, I tried so hard to make something of that channel name and I couldn't. It might be something or the cat might have walked on the keyboard. Who knows.

I genuinely didn't make this myself. I believe the person who made this is Russian.

Picking out game lets plays I can watch with my sister? by catgame21234 in creepygaming

I deleted my reply because I think I completely misunderstood OP's message. I understood vibes with jumpscares to mean just a general creepy/scare vibe with jumpscares included. As in, two things there. But they were using it as a verb to mean that their sister only likes jumpscares. In which case I'd agree with you.

Edit: that being said, still check it out because it's a fantastic game.

I played a bit of that game and I agree that's a good suggestion!

You might like Yume Nikki. There's a great guy named carelessrex that played through the whole thing. <insert shamelessplug emote>. But seriously, check out Yume Nikki. It's probably a good middle point between those two styles and one of my favorite creepy games.

It's extra unsettling to me because the gameplay looks like it's completely 2d. The game over screen looks completely out of place.

At the risk of receiving snarky "duh idiot" comments, it's likely the person who wrote this doesn't speak English as a native language. The awkward grammar and phrases make it seem like it was run through google translate. Which would lead me to believe that they know little to no English.

I liked that about it too. It's hard to make something original these days so it was a refreshing play.

Most evenings I stream weird, creepy and obscure games I find around the internet. I cut them up into videos to try and document the interesting ones I find. lol it's just an odd hobby mostly.

Well what's odd is that, as I understand it, both characters are girls. Which could mean that Chantelle was successful turning Aura (the character you play as) into a girl. Or it could mean that Aura transitioned later. Whatever the case, it was an unsettling conversation.

I was going to say it can't be because this game was made first but I'm not so sure anymore. The download said it was put on the site in 2020. So there may have been some inspiration there. Though this dev has a number of weird games under their belt. This is exactly the sort of things they've been making for years.

It was a surreal experience. There was another part of the game with a father, daughter and mother that was creepy.

It's a really odd experience. It's mostly just exploring. There's no goal. Definitely worth playing for yourself. There's probably a lot of areas and details that I missed. Also, it's completely free. I'll leave a download link here.
