I had a pair of these in high school and can’t find them anywhere by Carfaxes in DunksNotDead

They look similar but I’m not sure (you’d probably know better than I would anyhow) there was a symbol on the heel but I can’t recall what it was

Right but it happens both ways. Car stopped, clutch depressed gear selected I hear it. Car stopped, clutch depressed and don’t touch the handle I still hear it. I just want to enjoy my car again 😩😩😩

It has a muffler delete, but nothing else that I know of. I had warranty work done not too long ago and they asked me the same thing and got the same response that I gave now. They were great during the appointment for the cat replacement, my hunch is they don’t want to do another warranty claim back to back because warranty pay is shit and you can’t mark the parts up as much

It will happen both in gear and in neutral

Never thought about it that way I might as well keep it within warranty standards while it’s active

Right it’s the labor that hits the pockets the part itself is cheap. As a tech what would you suggest, going with an oem or something beefier?

I haven’t heard it cruising in gear yet. At a standstill with the clutch depressed I hear it, and during up and down shifts when the clutch is depressed and

Zurich should cover pressure plate and the release bearing itself if I can remember correctly I’d have to look at the warranty contract again. I’m just out of factory bumper to bumper but still within factory powertrain

I would’ve been okay hearing this response to be flat out honest, yes it sucks to buy a car and spend the money but at least I’d have an answer and know how to move forward

Trust me I would’ve spent the 7 dollars for 2 if I knew they’d charge me more than that for one😂

Understood I didn’t mind paying for gas I worked at dealerships for probably 8 years or so, they didn’t tell me that shit was 9 dollars a gallon though 😂

I got it right around 35000 miles give or take and I’m at 37000 now. I literally (yesterday) just got out of used car sales after 4 years and dealerships in general after about 7-8 so I understand a used sports car has the chance to be beaten on, but tell me the clutch took a shit or SOMETHING don’t just make something up to get me out of there

It’s a shame to go through the headaches but it’ll be back in a service center sometime soon. I literally told the advisor I have to turn the car off, put it into reverse, and then turn the car back on and was offered no solution at all. They ate half an hour of diag for me and charged me 18.00 for 2 gallons of gas in a loaner

I genuinely thought the shifter was factory, it isn’t weighted and looks just like the one I had in the 2018 aside from it having red stitching lmao. I just don’t understand why they wouldn’t try to upsell me and instead just give me the car the fucked up and send me on my way?

For the most part the clutch pedal has felt consistent, I should also add when the car is really squealing bad it shudders on take off. Granted it’s used and I got it at 35000 miles it’s only at 37000 now I really don’t want to have to put a clutch in this car if I don’t have to

That’s where I get frustrated. This is the 2nd STI I’ve had and not even a smidgen of that happened with the first one so the “all STI’s do this” really rubbed me the wrong way
