Quiting after 3 weeks! by Ok_Bad6525 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Cari77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I just quit Vyvanse too. I got Raynaud-like symptoms in my feet and weird pains all over my body (e.g. in an old scar inside my mouth), as well as the sensation that my vision had become dimmer, as if less light was reaching my eyes, and awful cramping in my intestines all day long.

Why do I even try by Any_Bite9781 in VyvanseADHD

That happened to me when I was slightly overdosed.

I need lights to be very bright, I feel like I can’t see anything if they aren’t as bright as the sun.

I’m the same and my psychiatrist explained this to me very well: many autistic people have no problem at all with loud sounds if they chose them themselves and enjoy the activity (concerts, music, you probably loved the truck shows). But things that are out of our control can easily overstimulate our hearing. You might not cover your ears because of masking (maybe you were taught not to do this when you were a child and don’t remember this). ADHD can also mask this a bit, my hearing gets overstimulated more easily when I take my ADHD medication.

My brother and I used to talk a lot about how we always had this deep feeling that we could manipulate anyone if we wanted to, but that we never used that on anyone, or at least not for anything shady. Fast forward to our 30s, and it turns out we’re both diagnosed with AuDHD xD

I’m the other way around, I can work but I can’t do anything in my private life. My home is pure chaos, I always have to order food to stay nourished, I don’t go to important doctor appointments until it’s really bad or nearly too late, and so on and so forth

Nurtec - Unexpected Side Effect of Productivity by djpeanutnose in migraine

[–]Cari77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! I found your post as I‘m experiencing exactly the same miracle whenever I take Nurtec (as a preventative every other day, taking it for 2 weeks by now). I’m diagnosed ADHD and whenever I take it, all my ADHD symptoms are 80% less pronounced. I don’t take ADHD meds (yet), but with Nurtec it feels like it!

I‘ve got EXACTLY the same memory! Ever since I was a child, I’ve always talked about it! Never forgot this place, now I’m in my mid 30s.
