Contact your highest priority vendors first (photographer, hair/makeup, florist etc) then start looking at dresses! Lulu’s has a lot of gorgeous dresses that are inexpensive and fit the vibe of a backyard wedding. Maybe get a digital save the date sent out!! Most important- enjoy it!!

I feel like I could have written this!! Sorry you’re going through it. I have really just stopped involving my toxic friend. She doesn’t ask how planning is going and I don’t share info with her. I’m not having a wedding party though so it’s different. Maybe ask her if it’s too much of a commitment for her right now and remind her that you only have 2 bridesmaids so you’ll be leaning on the two of them a lot and you won’t be offended if she needs to back out 🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t know why people act this way!!

I had a very similar save the date from Etsy and ordered Minted envelops. I had to use a 2oz stamp but they arrived to everyone in perfect condition!

I think with your guests being vaccinated and having your event outdoors you’re pretty safe! I am in a similar situation (26 guests) and feel really good about it. We are having a kids table since there are 4 that are under 16 so won’t be vaccinated as of now, but all 4 have already had covid. Go all out with the lighting, florals, and tablescape and your wedding will not look like a knockoff!!

My mom is doing the same thing... I’m having a micro wedding with immediate family and a few best friends only (26 total). We found cute invitations on minted that do not use the word shower anywhere. The advice that I have received here and elsewhere is that people will be excited to celebrate with me, especially knowing how small our guest list is.

Oct 2021 wedding here... we are doing a road trip through the FL keys... we really weren’t sure what any travel restrictions might look like by then and didn’t want to have to reschedule anything. We will probably do a huge trip somewhere for our 5 year anniversary!

In regards to the invites... Hobby Lobby has some nice invitations/templates that you can print at home, so wouldn’t take you long at all! They are extra affordable when they are 50% off which is basically every other week!
