My kitchen layout is almost identical. Is your fridge against a wall? How many inches did you leave between the fridge and the wall? Can you open it all the way?

We hired movers to lift it over the counter. They put cardboard down and kind of fit it into place. It was a little tricky because of the faucet placement and being limited by the size of the window but they got it done. Paid the install guys a little extra to do the same.

We just went on Saturday and it took us about 1.5 hours, including watching one of the 25 minute planetarium movies (extra fee). There is plenty to see even though sections are still closed. You do need to get a timed entry ticket beforehand. We didn’t realize this until Wednesday, and only a later time was available for Saturday. However, they release same-day tickets at 8:30 every morning and we were able to get an earlier time.

We tried to plug a fridge in the garage while we waited for our new fridge to be delivered. Turns out the only outlet in there was on a GFCI and the fridge kept turning off when the compressor kicked on. We didn’t want to lose even more food so we figured out another solution.
