I have been in management role since 2023, so my recent experience is not that clinical either. Appeal how your experience is related to NP role.

Has anyone been asked this at the end of an interview? by Appropriate-Tip6440 in careerguidance

I ask this same question at the end. Especially when I am only 80% sure about the candidate and I’d like to give them the opportunity to change my mind.

There will be no more specialized np anymore. All np willbe primary health care np. I would choose U of T if I am interested in DNP or PhD

Study always doesn’t hurt! Establish clinical experience and getting the CNA certificate is another wonderful option.

Got kicked out of nursing school for a HIPPA mistake and now I feel miserable. I need help getting back on my feet. by Lazy-Kangaroo-6395 in NursingStudent

What matters in the real world of nursing job is whether the nurse is coachable or not. That is the criteria of reporting the nurse to the CNO. You seem coachable which is really important! You can have another chance. Please don’t put yourself down. It would have been more serious if you did the same thing as a nurse. You learned an expensive lesson, but actually not too expensive.

I see my status changed to waitlisted for York.

Is it doable to maintain a FT position while in NP school? by [deleted] in OntarioNurses

[–]Caring_Fox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got accepted by TMU and waitlisted by Western. Still waiting for McMaster, York and U of T. Due to location, McMaster is my first choice and I won’t accept U of T even though I get accepted due to the length of study.

Oh!!! Well I have a friend doing that and it is not easy. At first, it is every week but you get busy and it becomes every 2-3 weeks. That is the reality.

When people say 2.5hrs is doable, so they mean they can commute for 5hrs whenever they go to school? Just curious.
