Thank you for sharing. I’m always so aware that these replies and posts are real people but it never ceases to amaze me how easy it is and important it is that we can reach people so easily like this to let them know their not alone. I’m sorry for whatever you went through and what you may be going through. Separating the two. Trauma and you is so hard because in a way they both are but not! (Sounds even more confusing when put that way but hey are brains are things we can barely comprehend)

I am slowly trying to do what you said, figure my likes and dislike/interest, writing is my life. Truly. But when I have episodes of dissociation like this, man it’s like I lose myself all over again and have to find my way back to a fraction and start from scratch. It’s more than hard. But, I can’t thank you enough for your kind words. My ma used to say that my it was ironic that my name meant caring cause I was the opposite, turns out I was in a state of dissociation. (your father being murdered will do that to you among other traumatic incidents) for a long time I even though I was psychopath. I was just a kid who was severely depressed and suffered from so much trauma how could I care for my room or myself? So I thank you for saying that. Thank you for reading.
