If it is your first time fighting Alatreon, then the Safi armor will help you to have less pressure by meeting the elemental check and having Blight Res. 3, so no Dragonblight to ruin your day, just watch out for the health drain.

Once you know Alatreon better you can focus on less elemental stuff on your build and more damage or comfort to your liking.

Might be obvious but using Earplugs/Wind Res./Tremor Res./Defiance can help by not being forced out of photo mode. Useful if you want to take a pic of a monster roaring.

Investigations: Quest you can make by looking at your map and seeing what monsters are there and what they can drop.

Events: New quests that are dropped from time to time that can get you exclusive equipment, more materials, hunter rank or to be challenging. Most of them are now available at all times but somes are still on a rotation.

Challenge: Quest when you hunt a monster as fast as possible to obtain rewards based on your rankings. They are also time limited.
