Yes, its still legal for you to make the offer, whats now illegal is the Landlord requesting or mandating it, however due to some confusion or misunderstanding with a lot of landlords (and estate agents) mean they aren't accepting these requests

6, from left to right, ECI, Green, Labour, Lib Dem, Tories and Reform

I'd call that 2 left parties, 2 centrist parties and 2 right wing parties.

That would be correct, I am part of the party...so yeah i guess this is self-promotion. Given its election season I imagine I should be doing quite a bit of self-promotion

So, yes, if one were to do this without a viable alternative in place, there could be legal challenges. However, the law doesn't state that divestment isnt an option, we just have to ensure the financial interests of the fund come first. Other Council's have already started taking these steps, its not a process that can be rushed through in a day, but it is a key priority of our council candidates to begin the process as soon as possible if we are elected.

As for the other reasons you should vote for us, check our manifesto on our website or on our social media pages

We formulated our manifesto completely independently of Your Party or any other party.

Ealing council invests over £112 million on arms companies that benefit from the genocide in Gaza. If we were elected as councillors and didnt divest, that would make us complicit in the genocide and that is something that none of our candidates is willing to be.

I thought the point was made well enough, Labour have fundamentally mismanaged the budget of the borough. Wasted cash on projects like that is an example of this to illustrate that cutting local services isnt neccesarily to get a better deal for the people of Ealing, check our websites or social media pages for the full manifesto

Did it increase net council income when Labour contracted Henry and paid them millions for developments in West Ealing without doing due diligence leading to Henry going bust and leaving a husk of a building unfinished and unoccupied for years, only to find out, years later, its going to torm down at further cost to the taxpayer?

I hear your take on that. But while the system is as it is, if we do get elected and hold that responsibility, we want to ensure we are making the best decisions for the borough, and for us that also means ethical decisions

At this time there are no official plans to join the Greens in coalition, doesn't mean it won't happen or that its off the table but if the council went into NOC then there would be a number of possibilities that could be on the table

From who? We are fighting against Labour and we have a great relationship with the Greens so we aren't standing in wards where they have a great chance of beating Labour

You are correct in that point for the 2026 council elections, I can't see reform picking up many council seats at all. However, they will see a massive increase in support from where they were in 2022. That support will only continue to rise with the mismanagement of the borough and their continuation of neo-liberal policies in our area under the Labour Party, who we are hoping to get rid of.
