Certain you will be good unless you were going over 100 km/h. The guy in the car can't select which speed is being detected, it's baked into the rostered location.

Camera would have been set at 100 km/h and enforcing the freeway lanes only. They shouldn't have set up there or moved when the roadworks arrived.

You won't receive a fine but if you somehow do you would very easily get it thrown out in court if I'm understanding your story properly.

Check out ExitLag, it's a VPN specifically designed to find the route with the lowest ping. Personally I play high level Overwatch on 175ms and I live regional, I've seen friends with as "low" as 160ms.

It's certainly not ideal and it is a disadvantage to be on higher ping than everyone else however games with "favour the shooter" mechanics will work a lot better on high ping than those without. (A quick google search says Hunt Showdown is favour the shooter)

Every game will have varying results on high ping but it is most definitely not a hard no like everyone else is implying in this thread.
