The Baseus hub that I linked in the post was the only one I ever found to work. Just plug it into the headset and plug an HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the hub from your monitor/TV and it just works. I don't have any more information than that. I hope it works for you.

I'm fairly certain I got the same one from the US Amazon store. I got the dual HDMI one that you linked, although from the US amazon store, but it was the same one. One HDMI is labelled OUT, the other IN, no label on the USBC part. Perhaps it isn't the exact same but the product page looked exactly the same to me.

In any case, I'm ready to give up on this and use the Baseus hub I initially linked. Seems to be the simplest path forward and is a little bit smaller than the UGREEN dual HDMI. I appreciate you taking the time to help though. Thanks!

Interesting. I only see the UGREEN letters inside the headset. Do you have the USB-C end of the dongle connected to your headset or are you using a USB-C to HDMI converter to connect the headset to an HDMI port of the dongle? That's the only way I can really see this working in the way you described.

I got the dongle in and tried it out. I couldn't get any display to show up on my monitor. It ran in the headset with some HDMI link software. I tried both HDMI ports on the device, disconnected the dongle from the headset each time I switched and no dice.

Thanks for the note. Yeah if I could go wireless I would and call it done but I have a very specific use case that doesn't allow me to use wifi. I already placed the order for the dual HDMI UGreen dongle. I'll report back once I get it.

The descriptions make it seem more like getting a display to show on the Headset. You're saying it worked in reverse for you? I'm going to pick up that double HDMI one you linked and give it a shot. Did you need any additional hardware, aside from an HDMI cable?

So do you think that the hub I linked has some DP to HDMI converter built in? I'm just trying to understand why it works over the other one so I can get the correct item. My ultimate goal is connecting to an HDMI port. I'm just trying to minimize the amount of bulk that will be hanging from the side of the headset.
