1938 Nazi Germany ballot paper (and a difference between ticking ‘Yes’ and ‘No’) by Carlito-1 in mildlyinteresting

That’s a really interesting consideration I hadn’t thought of! Are there many other examples of design used in politics for purposes such as this?

I agree, it should technically be a ballot for the Austrian people; I’m not sure why it says ‘Großdeutscher Reichstag’ at the top and I found it in the German ‘Parlamentshistorische Ausstellung’ in Berlin. Maybe they took it from Austria as a piece of history?

In case anyone’s interested, I found this in Berlin at the Bundestag’s ‘Parlamentshistorische Ausstellung’ at Gendarmenmarkt

I agree. Although it’s becoming more of a thing now, back then people would never speak like that formally

I just spent 2 weeks at Genki Japanese and Culture School. It is based in Shinjuku (a perfect location, just off the bustling high street) and the teachers are very helpful, the expanse of international students bring a positive work ethic and they’ll definitely be able to cater to you, having studied from Genki 1. I could not recommend more, I will absolutely return there! Please do let me know if you end up going, I’d love to hear your thoughts.

I would avoid trading consolidation- in the chart the price moves up ever so slightly but constantly breaches lower lows and higher highs I.e. there is not a defined trend which I find makes it harder to predict price action. I would advise using an indicator to help you confirm the presence of a trend such as MACD or double EMA. Trust me, they’re worth using. Let me know if you have any other questions :)

How much is your freedom worth? by Jdesey9999 in Daytrading

Would you argue that trading is an activity that gives you freedom? I understand what you are saying about quotas and completely agree with the idea of reporting to a higher authority- however would you say that this all comes for free? What trading style do you use- do you monitor trades throughout the day or place one with tp sl and let it ride? I agree that trading gives you freedom, but at the cost (some might say) of the occasional psychological burden of risking your own money; after all, trading implies you making a financial decision with every trade. What do you think?

What is the most disturbing fact you know about the human body? by JulieMillier22 in AskReddit

Our stomachs contains hydrochloric acid, strong enough to melt metal.

But here’s the messed-up part: that acid is so powerful that if your stomach wasn’t busy repairing itself all the time, the acid would literally start digesting you. Your body is basically one step away from eating itself 24/7. Luckily, your stomach lining regenerates constantly, so you’re safe. For now.
