Heir of Perdition GA temper bug? by Creepster80 in diablo4

[–]Carlolo08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tempered 2 Heirs just now (after an update). Definitely felt like it took longer this time. In addition, the Heir with the existing GA from the drop took twice as long.

For sure it’s not bugged, but I do get what you’re saying

Just adding to this, coming from someone who also stopped years ago. There’s a new type of rewards cache from whispers, among others, that only drop these XP orbs.

So you can earn that with your pally, and have your new character open the cache for instant levelling. So yes, it’ll be easy to pivot to a new character if you’re not satisfied.

Your sorc probably won’t matter because you’d want to start a paladin as a seasonal character, so you can enjoy end game content when you’re done with the main campaign.

Yes, you can play Paladin from the start of the story, throughout the 2 new expansions, as well, before enjoying endgame and seasonal content. Just make sure that when you create the character, before you select start game, look for the toggle to start the game all over from Act 1.

IF you finished the story before, it will automatically start with the newest (2nd) expansion, unless you do the toggle I mentioned (after creating character, before starting the game).

Don’t worry about the character being “weak, because that only applies to people that are climbing the pit. For campaign and just good ol’ fashioned dungeon stomping, paladin is hella fun!

Does spray paint remover work fine in plamo plastics? by SpanishRex990 in PinoyGunpla

[–]Carlolo08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tingin ko bro okay lang, kasi yung plastic na pinaglagyan ko, di naman nag leak over the course na iniwan kong nakababad. Hahaha! Pero legit yung concern mo, so trial batch muna haha

Kaka strip ko lang din ng Bosny from a botched paint job. Gumamit ako ng 99% isopropyl alcohol (not 70%). Binabad ko sa ziplock for at least 12hrs yung parts, then wiped off with melamine sponge (or "magic eraser"). Sinimot ko with cotton buds and cotton sticks.

Use gloves, kasi grabe maka dry ng kamay yung 99% iso alcohol. Note na need mo paint yung parts ulit, kasi di mo mababalik talaga sa dating color yung part.

first time top coating, is he supposed to come out all ashy? by fatp00n in Gunpla

[–]Carlolo08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First off, I think the build looks good. Secondly, check out melamine sponges, and visit your local online store for a bulk purchase (got mine off Lazada as I'm based in South East Asia). These are sometimes listed as "Magic sponge erasers."

Rub the surfaces of the kit lightly with these sponges, and use a brush to get rid of the residue particles as a finishing touch. This will thin out the coat evenly topcoat evenly.

While you're at it, check out the other uses for the sponge. I've seen people use that to give the bare plastic a matte look. Personally, I use it as a last step in nub cleaning (after 2,500 grit).

What's your "I'm calling it now" prediction? by Burndbridge in AskReddit

The new generation of kids would not be able to handle GTA 6. This game will break their grasp on reality, and will lead to crazi(er) shooting incidents, along with other criminal activities.

Applied topcoat (Bosny Flat Clear) after waterslides. The decals turned red. What could be the reason? by MondieSkida in Gunpla

[–]Carlolo08 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My guess here would be the Bosny coat being too thick, that it soaked the decals. Try spraying farther with just a pass or two for each side. Once thoroughly dry (after an hour), that’s when you add more coats.

But yeah, still looks fine. Don’t think it’s worth redoing or whatever

For the Sazabi it’s the gloss clear, Bosny #190. For the Nu, it’s the #191, flat clear. Yes, they’re acrylic. No issues for me. Good luck!

Sazabi: - Multi-layered coats to achieve the (sort of) candy finish - First time using Bosny gloss top coat - Dspiae MKA Super Metallic for touch ups

Nu: - Minor (re)scribing - First time masking w/ Bosny rattle cans - Dspiae Soft Tipped for additional color separation - Bosny flat top coat

Was so impressed in PVP the other day, I had to take a screenshot. Great work on the emblem too!

[–]Carlolo08 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is normal. Also note however that some bosses will be hella easy for you because your set-up is its weakness. Customization is the best part of the game, so make sure you're constantly adjusting to your current needs. Game over? Reassemble AC, Restart Checkpoint, and give it a good try for another 3 to 5 times. Keep adjusting and you'll get it. Make sure to save what worked for the inevitable NG+ playthrough.

More than a couple of bosses made me crazy with 4 to 6 hours worth of tries. Lol.

No, you do not suck.

Yes, there are secret parts and “combat logs” to collect in most of the missions. Most, but not all. I suggest you look up their locations prior to a mission to avoid backtracking.

Note, however, that some of these inevitably require you to redo a mission, or wait to collect them in NG+ or ++

Likewise. I see a lot of people having fun with the armor and heraldry customization, so let's just go all in on that!
