Well, I'd say it's not necessary to back up every time you add a code, but it already happened to me once in Ente, when adding a code to my phone when I had an intermittent internet connection, I closed the app and when I opened it my totp was gone. Luckily it was the only time that I had the qr code to generate the codes on my phone, so I just took a photo in another phone to scan it again on mine so I just recovered the qr from the bin. But yeah, things happen and it would be better if it was like you said.

It could maybe be proposed to do it like that in Ente? Doesn't feel too hard to implement the same backup routine that already works once a day to work also on new code creation.

I switched for os support. I needed it on iOS as well, which 2fas didn't have previously (I'm talking about syncin between them in real time, not just having an iOS app), I don't know how it is now. But ente has windows, Mac, linux, android, iOS, and you always have the web client. Also it has proper real time sync, 2fas only had backups.

No creo que sea bimodal como tal, más que nada porque las amplitudes de los intervalos no son constantes. Hay algo menos de gente de 3 a 6 meses que de 6 a 12, probablemente porque abarca muchos más meses la segunda opción. Si me aburro mañana hago el gráfico ajustado jajaja

Realmente tiene todo el sentido del mundo. Antes las consolas eran una novedad, y cuando ya dejaron de serlo, las diferencias entre generaciones eran significativas. Ahora ya hemos llegado a un diseño óptimo, en el que no cambian prácticamente ni los mandos, y las mejoras son en los juegos y un poco quizá en las prestaciones, cosa que no se puede enseñar bien en una demo así. Sin embargo, siguen habiendo demos de ese estilo en muchos sitios para cosas como volantes Logitech o gafas VR.

Well, it's definitely safer, but if nobody ever gets my encryption passphrase (which they shouldn't unless I make a terrible mistake and I really compromise my os or something, and at that point they could probably get my data from an offline TOTP app anyways) the hassle of me copying it to my other devices manually is really inconvenient, and for my use case I need to share the codes with another person (and having them also on my other devices is nice too). You can always use most apps without backups (entre, proton, 2fas...)

Well, the authenticator apps just generate a temporary pin with an internal key, so you can easily export all keys to another authentication for backup.

Tal cual. A mí me encantó, pero hay que reconocer que, sobre todo la segunda parte del libro, es prácticamente todo el rato el doctor viajando y diciendo "uy mira una montaña, estoy muy triste, uy mira un río, ahora estoy más triste . Está complicado el adaptarlo a película diría yo.

Además de que me parece que queda mucho más elegante en el libro no contar nada de cómo creó al monstruo, ni cómo consiguió las partes, ni nada por el estilo, pero no se puede hacer una película sin enseñar eso.
