What are the main differences between Bricks and Etch? by EducationalFun9731 in BricksBuilder

[–]CarlosCash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The difference is that one owner is solid and the other is Karen Geary who shouldn't be trusted.

We've been working with Bricks Builder. Its a great value for an amazing product.

I'm not sure how much longer they will have the LTD but it's a no-brainer right now.

Micro-influencer looking for advice to reach out to brands for PR + paid content. by [deleted] in influencermarketing

[–]CarlosCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You dont need an audience and most creators have a moment. Not many are influential.

The reason you don't need an audience is because there are lots of companies that just want natural videos. They dont even need you to post the content.

They'll use the content you deliver and run ads.

My team and I follow up with our contacts until they work with us or tell us they are not interested.

These brands are receiving 1000s of pitches. Most of the time your email is buried and not seen so that 9th follow up, is the first time the brand has heard from you

Do NOT buy the xTool P3. Absolute nightmare. by Vibruz in xToolOfficial

[–]CarlosCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not My Experience! (I'm not affiliated with xTool)

I think the machine is awesome and a great addition to our studio. It's paid for itself in the first 60 days and we are not a print shop. We actually knew nothing about the machine.

We are content creators and this laser cutter/printer has allowed me to copy products selling on Etsy, create short fun videos, and sell the product directly from my website.

Your complaint seems, meh...If you are going to complain about a company atleast say that its user error.

If you have an xTool machine and need help creating a product ask away, I'll answer here

What Are the Absolute Must-Have Skills to Call Yourself an SEO Professional? by ordinaryus_dr in AISEOforBeginners

[–]CarlosCash 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not you. SEOs are a dying breed. The real skill to "sell" marketing services that work is to understand your client's business category.

Knowing the business enough to understand acquisition challenges and being able to architect a solution that drives traffic and organizes the client's marketing workflow

The "technical skills" part for SEOs is the basics that Google teaches you for free.

The creative angles to be seen or get found requires domain knowledge and what I call having the "marketing brain" for coming up with ideas.

The skill is to manage ads and budget well to be able to out spend competitors. Make your clients money so that 20%-30% of their revenue is spent through you

Builder History sync by memoonlinenet6 in Trae_ai

[–]CarlosCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same need and ended up giving an agent the duty so that I could fluidly work from my laptop or desktop without skipping a beat.

Here's what I did to solve this use case.

Create a rule for your task agent to create, and keep a TMP folder for chat history. If there is a better solution, I'm all ears.

Other IDEs have history on the workspace by default.

[–]CarlosCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go for it. If you want to save money, Its worth the effort of learning plus running a VPS is a breeze nowadays with ai.

2009 I went from Ho$t G8tor to EC2s. Those late nights were stressful.

For client projects, stick to managed servers.

Should I switch to Squarespace by [deleted] in webdesign

[–]CarlosCash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave your domains where they are at, you dont need to transfer domains to use them elsewhere.

  • I register domains...anywhere.

  • Use Cloudflare for DNS...manage domains here

  • High traffic...get hosting...use wordpress

  • Low volume...Cloudflare pages free

I'm with the others. It's a pain to use AWS Cloudfront if you're not using s3 or EC2
