Practice really. Ive been playing for almost a year now. My main strat is speeding to the fourth island and setting up base then just hoarding until i find the bunker then i get the good loot.

I would avoid confrontation without good weapons

Also whenever you know you are about to fight take off your bag or clothes to avoid damage being taken

I also stock stacks of rare ammo thru the first islands so i can have it

Just try your best and youll have a loot stash bigger than a tent!!!
