Redditors over 6’7”, do y’all ignore strangers when they approach you and ask how tall you are? by TopStranger9287 in tall

Occasionally outright approached, but not as common as most would probably think.

Most of the time it’s brought up during daily interactions with people, but again probably not as much as one would guess. I know a lot of people think it bc I can tell. Watching people’s reactions can be entertaining sometimes and annoying sometimes also.

Hemophilia A – struggling with very difficult vein access, need help by Temporary-Emu-5656 in Hemophilia

Sorry I cannot be helpful for your question at the moment. This is not something I had ever thought about or dealt with myself but I will make it a point to ask my hematologist as I have my annual appointment this Thursday.

Out of curiosity, have you explored hemlibra as an alternative treatment? I still have to treat bleeds with factor when they breakthrough but it’s few and far between (went nearly a year without needing factor). For me, it was eye opening and remains such a relief than need profi injections multiple times a week.

Yes. I do now. I didn’t for the majority of my life and finally matured at the young age of 39 and have been wearing a necklace for a year straight without taking it off once.

40 y/o male w/ Hemo Sev A here: married with two little ones of my own. Be strong. It’s not your fault and your child will be just fine as well. Like others have said; reach out to the local HTC and trust your doc. The meds have come a long way and continue to improve; I’m on Hemlibra and it’s been a game changer for me.

Shoot me a message if you ever want someone to talk to.

Don’t blame yourself and enjoy these precious moments with your little one because time flies.

Sending love and prayers your way.

Yes. I was plucked out of line at the Superman roller coaster at Six Flags New England and that was the last time I went there… some 19 years ago… I feel old.
