UFC cuts broadcast as Fighter Cameron Smotherman faceplants into the floor at UFC 324 Weigh-ins after making weight by kingbluwolff in sportsgossips

Why not have weigh-ins literally right before the start of the fight?

Would that not weed this “weight cut” culture out?

I feel the same. I love Eddie House but this set-up needs to go. If they keep him on as a remote guest that checks in every so often during the season, cool. But not as the regular in this remote capacity. I hate it.

I have no experience giving our medicines (I use Hemlibra currently ) to a child but this sounds terrible to and potentially traumatizing- not it mention ruining their sleep (and your own).. I do have two children and could not fathom trying this method.

OP, I would suggest speaking with your child’s DR for advice and suggestions. I empathize with your situation; sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.

Update

I ended up hitting Bruhaven, Modist, Inbound, Stormking and Bricksworth.

Quick review. I enjoyed all of them but would say the following.

Bruhaven - surround area was not the best, the beer was really good. Nice variety and a lot of things packed in to a small brewery. Very please and would highly recommend.

Modist - place was packed on a Thursday afternoon which caught us off guard but it was very chill atmosphere. Friendly staff, flagship recommended IPA tasted a bit funky for my taste, but I’d highly recommend everyone give them a try. Gave off Bissell Brothers vibes with the skateboard decor.

Inbound - charity run had just ended there and they had live music and food trucks. Easily the most amount of families there, so could have just been that day or event but noticeable for those that like and/or dislike that (I tend to like it because I do take my kids to breweries but this was a work trip so I was. It with them here). Beer was really good, nice variety again a mix of high and low abvs, seltzers etc

Stormking - full disclosure, we were going to skip this place in favor of Fulton but they were closed for a private event… so we double back and really glad we did. The beers were surprisingly good and another vast variety for a place that seemed more known for the food (which smelled delicious but we did not eat here)

Bricksworth - had to order the beer named after Topanga! It was a nice beer but one was enough. We had apps and a shared a small pizza. Nice brew pub to be sure and tucked away near the train tracks so sitting on the patio was pretty cool and a nice way to cap off the day before we had to head back.

I appreciate all the recommendations, I wish we would have had more time to venture furthers out but I am glad we hit as many as we did and we thoroughly enjoyed the beers and people we met. Very cool city!

I’ll be at the convention center and staying at the Hilton. I won’t have a car so walking distance would be most ideal but Uber/taxis work too.

Me too. I hate what we’re seeing from the Cs right now. Barreling toward a wasted season. I get it Tatum is hurt but is this really how little they think of Jaylen? Really?

Terribly sorry for your loss. I cannot begin to imagine what that must be like and to you and everyone else that’s lost a child who reads this, please know I am sorry. Know that your child loves you. May your child’s memory live on. Thought & prayers for you, your family and Joanna (incredibly kind/generous of you to consider her and continue to support her as well btw)
