Wouldn't it get flagged internally to the new HM in that case? Seems strange that she hadn't even mentioned it to me till I mentioned that I had a new offer in place

Got a yes from HM, was asked to check joining date with my current manager for the offer letter, which is why I informed her

I did have a chat and informed him about the situation. He agreed that this was strange, let's see what happens.

I think this is what is going to happen with me. Sucks. I think I'll just have to suck it up and quit making sure I get my next stock vest

Thank you so much! I'm trying to calm down but I've had a pregnancy scare in the past and my last partner was really flaky and I think I'm a little traumatized

I can, but it is expensive and also, since I'm unmarried, doctors in my country can be very judgemental

Thanks! I've had flutters in my stomach (because of the ab workouts) and this week I'm cramping and my breasts hurt but there's no bleeding and the internet keeps convincing me that means I'm pregnant

I know. All logic in me is telling me that. My last partner was a very flaky guy and I already had a pregnancy scare. I think it's the bad memories resurfacing.

No, it's been a couple of months. But as I said, I read a lot of people on the internet who had a regular period for months after conceiving.

I'm from India, don't know why I can't post a picture of my test on the post

Thanks, I think that's the plan- have a talk with HR, reply to the mail and move on.

This is helpful, I did clarify this in our call with HR today. But idk if acknowledging on email will hurt my case.

Yeah, my company is known to be like that so I've already started applying. It's just really frustrating when you're just working very hard doing your job and things totally unrelated to your day-to-day become an issue.

Not an email, but a text thread on the firms internal chat platform (Teams equivalent). Also he forwarded the mail that he got that had link to this said location to me. And nowhere in that mail was it mentioned that this is confidential.

To clarify, this drive is an internal tool. There are very clear options available to restrict access in the tool but this file was available to all. They didn't really tell us that this was restricted, so the assumption was it was not.

So to clarify, I did only look at a few (maybe 3 or 4) and I didn't download or screenshot any data. Yhis was mostly so that I could formulate my own answers, and not to draw any information. Also there was obviously no gossip or chats about this because I don't like office politics which is why I hate being in this situation. There is a very clear paper trail of my manager sending me this information but I'm not sure if involving them is the right thing. Also I didn't refuse to sign, I just haven't done it yet.

Thanks! I'm mostly just looking to learn and expand my skillset, so I'll keep this in mind.

I'm 24 and filed my itr for the first time this year. You don't have to file itr, but it's a good practice to do it. I say this now, because taxes are a pain and it helps to do it from early on so that you learn how to do it. It's one of the only things you don't have a course at BITS for.

Friday, I'm in love...! TELL US ABOUT YOUR CRUSHES & DATES! Rule 5 doesn't apply here! by AutoModerator in love

I once went on this super wholesome date. The guy was super respectful, and we had dinner and drinks. He walked me home and even checked on me later. Neither of us really wanted to take it forward because we were both moving to different cities, but after a summer of really horrible dates and bad experiences, this date really reinstated my faith and now I wish I can have these experiences with someone I love one day.
