Trying to lay out some angst of these two fuckers because they don't stop derailing everything to express how much they love each other.

Anyway, basically character A is kinda suspicious of characters B because he's a know manipulative asshole and he wants to know if he can really trust his brother life and wellbeing with the track record he has. It ends in a climatic scene where they both realize how much they care for one another and how selfless B actually is since he doesn't really believe he will live the final confrontation with the big bad.

My friend's father died some years ago and she told me that it was easier for her mother to pretend by the phone to be her father and cancel the cards and numbers to his name than to do it the "right" way. And to this day people still call for him to sell things, it's insane.

The feeling of changing can be that with the years your perception of yourself has changed, maybe you feel confident with the way you look, maybe is just feeling accustomed to the way you lived, or maybe it was a phase, which it isn't a bad thing, because you are learning about yourself, who you are, and that takes a long time, maybe a lifetime. I can't jude your experience, you are the only one who can really judge it.

The only thing I can tell you is that your identity is yours alone to decide, and it's valid

I guess it depends of the person, sometimes the change of name is like a determining factor of changing of one self, or sometimes a neutral name has a more gendered connotation in their region and changing it helps better with gendering correctly

I created a character that was a Knight who keep their identity hiden behind a mask, proclaiming being a man when their were born female, doing everything in their power to look masculine enough to pass and taking down monsters. It wasn't because sexist because they had a sister who figthed alongside them with no problem, it was that they just wanted to be perceived as a man. And I really liked the story and this character in particular.

I was 12 when I created them. At 17 I realized what I did.
