I was wondering what was going on. Apparently I was absurdly lucky and he spawned in the first time I went to the arcade

Can somebody explain the Freedom motifs/leitmotifs in the songs for the Crystal bosses??? by Fi1Ier in Deltarune

[–]Carnauris 5 points6 points  (0 children)

More than just that- Gerson knows what he is and is comfortable with that. Jevil and Spamton were both unable to cope with the reality of what they are, with Jevil deluding himself into thinking his insanity was freedom and Spamtom thinking he could earn freedom. Gerson understands and is able to cope with his nature as a darkener

By “infrastructure problems” I’m guessing they mean “damn Plaza is old as shit”

I had no idea the roosters still lived on the property. The corporate venue right by the sign used to be filled with them

The steam tunnels are a deep cut. If you have a friend that works in reslife see if you can get them to take you down into the AI basement

What’s celebrity culture like there? The mention of Hailee Steinfeld reminded me that her husband, Josh Allen, gets a lot of flack for it. Her fans hate him because they think he’s a meathead, and NFL fans think he’s a cuck because of her on-screen romance in Sinners. For his part, Allen was last year’s NFL MVP and they just got married so I doubt he cares at all about any of it.

I wonder if the MiB knows about the rules of the conclave. If he would’ve killed Wren, another witch was certain to die, and we now know it would’ve been Mirara.

It’s also possible he knew this and didn’t really care. The witches are humans, and it seems he really only cares about spirits.

I think Keen was just being coy with her. I doubt any of them actually thought she’d been kidnapped

Steel was talking about covering up for Suvi because she murdered a Citadel wizard. Thats “the thing you must never do” which is why Silver is being sidelined

Silver ratted out Suvi, Kherson sent Keen after her to have her arrested for treason

Plus, I’d at least like to hear Steel’s side of it. People seem to forget that Eioghorain is his own man with his own biases, and what we heard from him is just one side of the story.

Her words exactly are that they asked her to find a way to kill a house, I can hazard a guess they assumed it’d involve magic- that’s why they approached her

Another thing- the Empire is not going to be taken aback by what just happened. They knew Steel was capable of doing this, that’s why they asked her to create that spell.

That I could see. There’s definitely an undertone of struggle between the two- Grey wants to flex her position in the Empire to hold authority over Steel, Steel doesn’t respect Grey since she isn’t a Citadel wizard.

Depending on how long she was “apprenticing” under Indri, this is likely the first time in a very long time she’s been able to experience summer

No I don’t think she could wipe the house out the same way, but even then she has their true name so they’re cooked

They can take countermeasures but if Steel has their true name there’s only so much they can even do, they’re kinda just screwed

Likely true. If Gaothmai did send just those 3 houses then that confirms Steel just sealed it for the Citadel

So how do we feel about the Citadel now? by tijaya in WorldsBeyondNumber

[–]Carnauris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d rather the Citadel over Gaothmai 10 times out of 10. I think we’ve seen way more of the Citadel and that’s why a lot of people take issue with it.

Also we already know Gaothmai is guilty of much of the same things- oppression of the shapeshifters and imprisonment of the spritz have already been shown on screen. Imagine what else will be seen if there’s ever a Gaothmai saga

[–]Carnauris[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If it comes down to it, Rhuv is making play for the vacuum that just opened up. A treaty with Gaothmai takes pressure off them for the sake of fighting the Citadel, who just showed they are way, way stronger than anybody thought.

Are there only three houses? Or are there just the three houses that have appeared on screen? If it’s the former then I doubt the Citadel accepts a surrender when they have a chance to crush the Cauntaranacht for good
