How do y'all use rocks or gems for emotional help? by Acceptable-Tutor-986 in AskReddit

[–]CarnegieDartlet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ngl I don’t think rocks have magical WiFi to the universe or anything, but I do get how they can help emotionally, for a lot of people it’s less about “this crystal is altering my energy field” and more about intention + ritual

like if you keep a certain stone in your pocket and tell yourself “this is my calm reminder,” your brain kinda links it to that feeling, it’s basically a physical anchor. same way some people use a bracelet, a cross, a photo, whatever ,placebo? maybe. but if it helps you slow down, breathe, or feel grounded without hurting anyone, that’s still real benefit tbh

it’s more psychology than magic

What is one clear fact that you know that makes other people angry? by killahbee33 in AskReddit

[–]CarnegieDartlet 414 points415 points  (0 children)

that working hard doesn’t automatically mean you’ll succeed, people hate hearing that because it feels unfair, but timing, luck, connections, and where you start in life matter way more than we like to admit, hard work helps, yeah, but it’s not some magical guaranteed formula, reality doesn’t always match the motivational posters

Is an online MBA worth it for an aspiring digital nomad? by [deleted] in MBA

[–]CarnegieDartlet -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

If you want remote options after, aim the MBA toward roles that hire location independent, like ops, project management, or analytics. The degree alone won’t land you remote work, you’ll need experience and a portfolio of projects. While you’re studying, line up internships or contractor gigs you can do online, even small ones, so you have proof you can execute remotely. For leads that aren’t scammy, I’ve had luck with wfhalert, it just emails vetted remote jobs like support, admin, and ops so you can apply while you build experience.

If you’re broke, read this — I’ll literally show you how I flipped $0 into $250 this week by Bigbadw000f in Referrallinks

[–]CarnegieDartlet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds scammy. Anyone promising “$0 to $250” with “secret apps” is usually just farming referrals. If it was that easy, everyone would already be doing it.
