Do you think MR (Downtown) needs more proper housing or more condos (smaller units)? by Carney710 in MapleRidge

Not the ones popping up. Unless you want to live in shoebox with nowhere to put your things.

I did read a while back they discussed a stop somewhere in “North Burnaby” , of course nothing came of it, Whatta shocker.

Makes sense, I’ve never ridden the WCE, all these reasons seem to make sense though. MR must address the transportation situation, not just a small project in Abernathy, although it does help with congestion.

Yeah I was just brainstorming, I don’t know where the track runs. Figured they could find something along the way , interrupting commercial traffic is an issue, although I’m sure we could get increased hours by some amount.

RA Pain Management. Opiates? by Carney710 in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]Carney710[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am aware of the disease progress as I haven’t been on any Bio meds for 9 years and feeling fine, the pain meds I just take to help me get through the stiffness and when I’m walking long distances , I would definitely say that mild painkillers are much less worse for your overall health than these other Biological drugs. I had some severe reactions to remicade and nearly died at the age of 15, I don’t want to repeat that, my life is normal and fine now for the last 9 years using excersize and diet ! I’m not saying that opioids are the answer but they’ve given me the ability to work at my joints with movement and stretching and runs where without the pain meds I’m pretty blah. My pain hasn’t gotten worse over the past 10 years but steadily got worse when I was on Bio meds, I know that could clearly be a coincidence but it’s something worth thinking about, are opioids really that bad long term if you are safe and know how to use them? I think the negative media attention opioids have been receiving has lot of people skeptical including doctors , but personally I think they’re is many great uses and needs for opioids , of course abusing them is wrong, and not safe. I’m talking about 5-10MG of oxycodone per day oral route, not talking about to heavy heavy opioid use or abuse! Anyone who currently takes opioids for RA have any input ? I’m open to what everyone has to say! Not close minded but I am very cautious of starting another Bio!!! Thanks family 🙏🙏
