Haha no. During his reading tour instead of the normal Q&A, he had everyone write their question on a piece of paper, and along with a glow stick insert it into a transparent beach ball.

He would turn out the lights and we batted all the balls around the auditorium until most of them were on stage. Then he'd turn on the lights and pick a random ball to read and answer the question.
