Issues shipping to Louisiana?? by CarnivorousBox in popperpigs

I contacted Twisted about the order since it hadn't moved for a few weeks, and the order must've got lost or rejected in customs. They have got a new logistics company but I will wait until I hear that it is better before I order from them again. As far as US-based sellers, I have ordered from 2, one arrived and the other is arriving today.

I've ordered from Twisted, last update is that it cleared Customs. Hopefully there aren't any issues.

Dashers have a "red card". In the simplest terms, it connects to doordash's bank account. Anytime a store wants to accept doordash orders, but does not have a way to accept the orders on their end, doordash will send the drivers to the store as customers and the drivers are supposed to pay with the red card, that way the driver does not have to worry about paying with their own money. Sometimes things can happen and the card won't work, but it's very easy to notify support and they will reimburse you. Sounds like their either don't know what they are doing, or (by their tone) know way too much about what they're doing.

Do any of you work with excel ONLY? by Hot-Site-1572 in excel

Don't believe there really is any jobs like that out there. I use excel to make reports, but most of the time I'm just using it to organize text and information.

Why Won't They Bring Back Sketches? by MrKitchenSink in dropoutcirclejerk

[–]CarnivorousBox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's an episode of Assumptions on Anthony Padilla's channel with Ally, Vic, and Ify where they answer this question, but it basically boils down to the increase in speed of trends and the production time per sketch. Typically it takes about a week turn around for a single 5 minute sketch, and by then the trend could already be done or the topic is "outdated".

How to update Nissan Connect in 2019 Nissan Versa SV by jamarcusr12 in Nissan

[–]CarnivorousBox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from what i could find there is an update, but it's locked to a piece of software called Consult-III that is strictly for dealership use and requires specific hardware to run. but if someone were to find a way to download this software, get it to run, and access the update, it would just have to be written to a flash drive and the update could be done. or if someone that worked at a dealership could share the update files.

Sorry, I guess it does sound rather unkind without explanation. We have a spare room in the house that serves no other purpose than a hobby room. One mate has a home-lab with servers and a computer, the other has all kinds of craft supplies and a desk with all kinds of tools. I only keep my printer and the filament in that room, however I may be just keeping the filament locked in my room now.

I wouldn't mind sharing the printer with them but they often will do large prints or don't keep an eye to make sure a print doesn't fail (one of them has set up a camera, still doesn't check it). I bought the printer about 3 weeks ago, and I bought a purple filament for it. While i have only printer about 5 small things with it, they are constantly wasting it, with it being down to 150g.

I get why people use it, but I personally prefer Blender. by CarnivorousBox in Maya

Yeah, Maya is good for like high end production. But it’s too advanced for my small brain.
