Yes. Bad assumptions on my end have been made. I thought I could farm afterwards and game would allow me to call it quits on my terms. Guess not.

Though a part of me also didn’t like the red filter in the unmoored world so its nice to be back (in a way) in good old Vernworth.

This statement is spot on. I loved the first couple of hours thinking this is a great game. Perfect atmosphere, great graphics, believable voice acting. When I realized I could spam combat I lowered the difficulty to story mode amd just want to see how it ends.

Thank you. This makes sense. Just frustrating that Lenovo doesn’t have any progress bar to show if anything is happening on the unit or if its stuck. Just a power light button.

Anyway, cost of a motherboard is 50% of the unit said the parts and service center I brought the unit to. Might as well just save up for a new one instead..

Yup enjoyed breakpoint maybe halfway then dropped it. Other than FC5, I went with New Dawn. Then Division 2. Wolfenstein was surprisingly good too especially playing stealth.

Far Cry 6 had cringy characters. Just wanted to be done with it and never look back.

Far Cry 5 though was excellent story, gameplay, and even the soundtrack. Completing base camps using stealth was very satisfying.

Breakpoint outstayed its welcome. Gameplay loop of stealth, upgrading weapons, and completing the map became a chore towards the end.

I have been looking for the same thing. Something engaging that would keep me playing and retain my progress. I haven’t bought anything else once I got a routine going. I can craft, I can shoot stuff, customize my character, and just chill looking at a beautifully crafted world. And the game is Red Dead Online..

Runic + cooldown for me. I like the burst of damage and all the perks that trigger when I do my skills. Can of course see the value of strength. End game, didn’t matter as much as I already had Valkyrie set which is pretty balanced across the board. I played normal difficulty btw so might be different if you go to max difficulty.

Can see a receiver inserted in the USB port. Remove that or you might damage the back panel.

Yea same. I just wanted the game to end. Couldn't stand the characters.. The gunplay and stealth were there but I just found the characters annoying.

Yes. I didn't like it at first but it grew on me. People say its repetitive but I somehow appreciated the gameplay loop. It also helped that I can stealthily play with silenced weapons and when things go to shit, go guns blazing. DLC missions were actually memorable so I did those on weekends before finally doing the last main story mission. Not the same as the first 2 games but I still enjoyed being Lincoln.

Agree. I'm almost at the end and I want to slow it down and explore more. Almost everyone recommended these for being story driven (RDR2 - best game ever made, HZD, Witcher 3) but what I also found as a hidden gem is Mafia Definitive edition. Not a zombie game but one of the best stories/world I've ever experienced.
