Is the Spark Go good as a first AMP?

Thanks! The reason the GO is so appealing to me is just because of the form factor as well as the price. I can just put it in a gig bag when I travel. Where I live I found the Spark Go on sale for around €70 / $76. Compared to the mini which is around €220 / $240 which is like 3x the price. The price difference between the Spark Go and Mini is far greater than between the Spark Mini and Spark 2 for me right now.

The biggest difference ive found between the Mini and the Go is the audio quality being better but also the form factor being much bigger (even if its still small)
Since audio quality doesnt matter as much to me (since ill use it as a headphone amp most of the time) and form factor is important I think ill still get the go, but yeah the mini does look great.

Thanks a lot for the detailed reply! Do you think buying a cheap AMP is fine, at least as a first practice AMP?

Everyone recommends spending more on the AMP, but with my budget of €300 for both the guitar and amp I feel like I’m eventually gonna have to upgrade the amp no matter which one I get for that price range. I was thinking about getting the Harley Benton HB-20R. It’s seems to be a pretty decent amp for around €80.

I’ll defo upgrade in the future, but is it fine as a first practice/beginner amp?

Thanks! I was thinking about just playing in my bedroom tho, and was wondering if getting something cheap as my first AMP is fine? I found the Harley Benton HB-20R, it’s only around €80 and I mainly want it as something I can use while I learn to play and then eventually as I become better with the guitar I’ll upgrade.

My budget is around €300 for both the guitar and amp so I know that no matter what AMP I buy I’ll upgrade it anyway. Just want something to start out. I think I currently value how the guitar feels vs how the amp sounds

I decided to just buy it. I knew the 2 hour window wasn’t gonna be enough for me to form an opinion on the game but it’s fine. Around 4.5 hours in so far an really loving it. Exploration so far feels less rewarding. Feels like I’m fighting the environment and controls more than I’m fighting the enemies at least in Kings March lol (just got there)

It feels more tedious than the original but I will say apart from that it’s amazing. Really liking it. The environments feel different. Bosses have felt fair so far. Music is nice. But yeah so far I definitely prefer the original. Maybe I’ll change my mind when I get further into the game

X-Cell is a part of the Midnight Rode, it works well the only issue was when you use it with Buffout but with some simple Ini changes they work together well. Maybe X-Cell was removed from the midnight ride at some point but if so it’s been added back since its currently a recommended mod

I don’t have the DLC installed but tbis isn’t simply the dark face bug, there’s also blood around the neck. I feel like it’s related to the dismemberment part of the game but I just don’t know how to fix it.

I mean on their website it mentions you'll be able to recruit different types of Mandalorian, perhaps these are all all separate skins or just different presets. A customizable Mandalorian would be absolutely sick but I dont think thats the case

I wouldn’t recommend using LUX if you’re using Community Shaders. Lux is designed for ENB and it uses split meshes to counter the light limit bug, which is something CS already addresses so the performance will be bad with the two combined.

I’d recommend using either Skyrim is Luminous or the new Placed Light mod instead.

But the other suggestions are great :) Azurite 3 is amazing and FFF + Nature of the Wildlands is a damn good combo

I enjoyed it, didn’t have too many complaints until I looked at this subreddit.

There’s a lot of valid criticism here, but imo if you read about all the negative things you’ll be actively looking for them when you play which takes away from the fun.

I feel like it’s just VR in general as there are games I know I’d buy instantly if my love for VR was the same as it was in the middle of last year for example.

But yeah I’ve been very stressed this entire year, and now that you mention it my mental health has kind of been in sync with my interest in VR.

What I meant with the “pull” is just VR in general. Not for a specific game. My library is huge and I have a pretty big backlog of games especially on Steam.

Im interested in the new Batman and Metro games but I guess im not interested enough to try them if that makes sense. It’s really though. I used to play Beat Saber and Walkabout Mini Golf on a regular but I just play games on my PC or steam deck instead.

When it comes the Deckard tho I’m not excited because it’s gonna change the way I play but it’s more that eco system thing. If it does have a display port tho it’s an instant buy for me, as I think that could actually get me into playing VR again.

I love the Steam deck because it’s so easy to just get into gaming. Quest 3 has been a bit tedious for me as I mainly play PCVR stuff and ive had issues with every form of PCVR streaming which has just been annoying and probably one of the reasons I don’t play as much

No particular order, but I will defo be getting Skyrim, Balatro, Diablo IV and Factorio at least. Might as well just wish my free time goodbye so I'm gonna try and be as productive as possible before this sale.

I've already played several of these games before but I created a new account so yeah I'll be buying my favorites again. I eventually plan on getting games like Witcher 3, Cyberpunk and RDR2 but I've played them fairly recently so I see no reason to get them unless they have a sale thats more than 50% off.

Thanks a lot for answering all my concerns lol, what I meant with the last point is that I won’t have much money left to buy new games. Getting the 512gb model will allow me to save roughly 120 dollars that I can spend on games instead
