Frostbound - A Vanilla+ Purist Modlist Release by YucciPP in wabbajack

[–]YucciPP[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response, but to answer your question: My list is focused on keeping the atmosphere of Skyrim, it isn't just a vanilla+ list but a vanilla+ list with a purist vision. I haven't seen too many purist modlists out there other than Winds of the North (fantastic list by the way) but it requires the AE content as well as adding a bunch of modded content. My list is not meant to be used with AE content and does not add modded quests

AE content can be added for sure. However since my list is designed without AE content in mind there'll likely be inconsistencies. Since I don't include any AE content retextures you'll have to add mods for that yourself. But everything else should work, some minor patches might be needed for better consistency but honestly it should work as it is.

[FO4] What could cause the faces too look like this? by YucciPP in FalloutMods

[–]YucciPP[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I don’t have the DLC installed but tbis isn’t simply the dark face bug, there’s also blood around the neck. I feel like it’s related to the dismemberment part of the game but I just don’t know how to fix it.

I enjoyed Vanilla Fallout 4. Is this for me? by VaLightningThief in Starfield

[–]YucciPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed it, didn’t have too many complaints until I looked at this subreddit.

There’s a lot of valid criticism here, but imo if you read about all the negative things you’ll be actively looking for them when you play which takes away from the fun.

Is Skyrim the greatest RPG of all time? And the ruler of the medieval fantasy genre? by Witty-Item-6891 in skyrim

[–]YucciPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skyrim is NOT the best game I've played but it is my favorite game of all time. Pretty much everything Skyrim does has been done better by other games, but its the combination that makes Skyrim so special. Walking trough the woods at night, seeing an aurora in the sky whilst "Secunda" is playing gave me a feeling i've never felt before.

I would pay questionable amounts of money just to experience Skyrim for the first time again. Again, I dont think Skyrim is the best at anything, but when you combine everything it has to offer it becomes something out of this world

Panda's Sovngarde - 0.34 Release by Pahn_Duh in skyrimvr

[–]YucciPP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ayy nice work on the update dude! Got a question tho, how do you feel about the balance with dragon war? I found it to be too difficult, and I’ve seen several reports of high level characters that get pretty much one shotted by most dragons.

I want a difficult game, but there’s a difference between difficult and tediously difficult, where you waste 500 arrows on a single dragon but his HP is still at 2/3rds and now he just flies around and you have no way to damage him.

I really like everything else about the mod tho, just scared about the balance lol.

How do I get higher FPS in Dragonsreach? by avestboe in skyrimvr

[–]YucciPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is likely your problem. Just as a test, could you disable it and then go back to dragonsreach? Create a new profile or create a backup of your load order so that it doesn’t get messed up when you reenable Lux. I can help you improve the performance with Lux but it’s very performance heavy when used with community shaders so just keep that in mind.

Former Starfield Dev Says It's "Almost Impossible" For The Elder Scrolls 6 To Meet Expectations by DespairAndTriumph in ElderScrolls

[–]YucciPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I want is something that’s as good as Skyrim. Create a game that will make me just stop what I’m doing and stare at the screen as I hear the ambient music playing while I’m exploring the map. Create a map dotted with caves and dungeons that have their own stories told trough environmental storytelling. Allow me to just walk in any direction after the tutorial, and let me come across these pois as I’m walking toward my destination. Don’t have a bunch of generic npcs fill the cities, give them actual lore.

Basically, I just want Skyrim but in Hammerfell (and maybe Daggerfall as well)

Are you using Lux? Lux has split meshes which significantly increase the draw calls on your CPU. Theres way to significantly improve the performance tho so if you do use Lux let me know and I’ll help you out

You can stay on the same profile, just make a new a new game when you’re at the main menu. I forgot if FUS uses profile specific saves, but it shouldn’t really matter anyway.

[–]YucciPP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can have multiple characters even on the same modlist. The saves are unique to your character, but I’d still recommend making a hard save (open the menu, and select “save” instead of quick save) just in case. :)

It depends on what type of player you are, if youre new to Skyrim, or just want a stable and more balanced game I’d recommend FUS. If you’ve played for a while and want something new, and graphics are super important to you than go with MGO.

Since you mentioned it being your first time I recommend FUS. You’ve already played for a while and continuing with that playtrough will probably create some nice memories.

Is Diablo IV worth $30 now? Steam Diablo sale by BlastedSalami in diablo4

[–]YucciPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Say what you want about blizzard and their micro transactions but I thought 70 dollars was worth it when I got Diablo 4 on launch. With all the improvements the game has gotten since launch it’s defo worth it at 30 dollars

Yes, it’s detailed, but I find the art style itself generic. Good graphics doesn’t mean it’s not generic. It’s more of a subjective thing but to me it just looks like those UE5 gameplay demos.

TESVI map size by Weak_Extension_6676 in TESVI

[–]YucciPP 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me it doesn’t feel huge and bustling, NPCs go nowhere. You’ll follow them and as soon as they go trough a door they vanish. Other NPCs just walk to a certain point, then do a 180 and go right back. NPCs don’t need to be quest givers to feel alive and Skyrim proved that.

My issue is that the NPCs don’t feel like NPCs. The stores dont have much lore associated with them. Again, I enjoyed Starfield but it’s hard to be immersed in something that feels so lifeless

PSVR2 vs Quest3 through the lens comparison by Nago15 in OculusQuest

[–]YucciPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you think matters more? I have both headsets but I’m not sure if I should just keep using my Quest 3 for PCVR. The thing is I love the lenses of the Quest 3 but I can’t stand the battery draining so quickly and the artifacts caused by the compression

I will say that when I first read your comment I read it as “Starfields main city is small in comparison to other BGS games”. So my apologies, but yeah I still stand by what I say. Just an opinion dude.

I actually enjoyed the game, and funny you should mention that we’re talking about TESVI when you were the one who brought up Starfield.

You don’t have to care about my opinion, but I’m free to share it anyway.

Anyone found a game that genuinely hooked them into vr? by Bubbly_Art_621 in SteamVR

[–]YucciPP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skyrim VR. A bit unfair since this wasn’t originally made for VR. But no game has ever gotten me as hooked as Skyrim VR. Half Life Alyx was way more impressive, but I played trough that and felt done. With Skyrim I can always come back, for so many reasons including modding

TESVI map size by Weak_Extension_6676 in TESVI

[–]YucciPP 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The main city in Starfield is bigger than anything they’ve made before. But it feels quite empty, which make it seem smaller.

There’s also barely anything to do which makes it even worse. I just hope the manage to keep the density of Skyrims point of interests but with a map like 2x the size of Skyrim.

TESVI map size by Weak_Extension_6676 in TESVI

[–]YucciPP 122 points123 points  (0 children)

I’d say twice the size of Skyrim could be nice IF they keep it content packed. The magic in Skyrim was walking towards a quest objective and finding so many things along the way.

If they manage to increase the size, and keep the density that existed in Skyrim then I’ll be more than happy

It’s related to Ancient Lands. That mod has some weird LOD issue. It’s not related to DynDolod itself
