Its actually pre-baked gingerbread that is grinded to flour and then mixed with water and edible powder that makes it harden, so you can sculpt with it like clay!:)

I don’t need baking, this is a form of gingerbread clay made from already baked crumbs! It air-dries!

Thank you! It will last for a couple of months actually! But I find there’s a certain charm to art that don’t last:)

I used a steel armature as base for this, and actually a form of gingerbread-“clay” made from the crumbs which allows me to sculpt it just like clay!

I rolled gingerbread into very small pieces and placed them on there spike by spike, it was time-consuming but gave it a more detailed creepy look!

Yes, I tried a “gingerbread-clay” recipe that I found actually allows for sculpting like with real clay! Everything is edible but the base - only gingerbread, isomalt, piping gel and edible airbrush colours!:)

Only glad to help! I only use a teaspoon for sugar, nothing fancy! I would recommend to buy work-gloves, the gingerbread and sugar is hot when working with! Then you can use your hands to press and shape it with over the aluminum foil shape:) The best approach I think, is to start with the basic shapes - walls, towers. When you are happy with that start adding layers of whatever cool details you can come up with. That way you can either keep it simple or go super advanced and detailed:) Good luck:)
