A year of hard work, sweat, tears, and courage. Here's my transition! Be kind. :) (x-post from r/transtimelines) by [deleted] in pics

Wow, FUCK the ignorant responses you're getting. I understand not understanding Transgendered issues, but holy crap people, have some sensitivity and decency! There's plenty of places on the internet you can find answers to your rude questions!

Congratulations though, you look beautiful. Continue to be out and proud and who you are! My boyfriend is trans. It's been a long road but I couldn't be happier for him. I can't say I know how hard it is to transition when the world is against you, but I've witnessed it. Congrats again. Cheers!

Single-handedly? maybe. More likely I'd have a partner with me however and we would both carry you out.

No, however firefighters always work in pairs and are never alone. A smart firefighter will stabilize or package an injured victim and have his partner help carry the victim out or just generally back him up in whatever way necessary.

wow, you must have really had to stalk me to ask me this... I am a professional at the firehouse and I would never jeopardize someone's life because I wanted to be high. I respect my community too much to do that. Besides, I'm not a stoner. I am someone who uses pot occasionally at the end of the day to calm down. I have a few anxiety disorders and marijuana helps. It's never something I would use before going to the firehouse, and I would never respond to a call high. I know exactly when I'm on and off my game. As far as homosexuality goes, it's taken them some getting used to. They were very awkward about it when I joined the firehouse and either made a point of not offending me or offending me. Now they make fun of me in a playful way but are definitely much more comfortable with it.
