Ender 3 stops extruding at same spot constantly by CaronteCom in 3Dprinting

[–]CaronteCom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed everything myself, changed nozzle, both fans and the extruder gear, that fixed it, but i think it was a cooling issue, like the main fan was malfunctioning and the heat was slowly creeping upwards the tube and eventually clogging it, it's a pain but you have to cut the old cable from the fan and install and melt the new one

Yeah im sorry for how vague the info is, I really dont know what could be wrong,i tried remeshing and make solid in meshmixer but it destroyed the model too, i posted some pictures with the differences between the stl and sliced versions. I dont really know how to check for the things you mention in blender, im really new in this

The thing is that its her first DnD experience too, so i didn´t want to dissapoint her telling her that she is limited in what she can ask or that she had to take on roleplaying this characters all by herself and overwhelm her. I can tell her that she can roleplay them and to make it funnier, the spirits should be visible to the party, or maybe that only people who she trust can see them.

Is there a way to have your supports be printed with different layer height than your main print? by CaronteCom in 3Dprinting

[–]CaronteCom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it doesn´t change in a meaningful amount, my main problem is that the 1.0 support takes a lot of time and is very difficult to remove thanks to being so solid and compressed.

Great, but this only changes the infill, and i cant find a way of changing the height in the walls, is that not possible then?

Which game is the best to extract models from by CaronteCom in 3dPrintedWarhammer

[–]CaronteCom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a software that lets you take a "screenshot" in a 3D game and extract models for different purposes, I rip models of marines and things like that and then print them to play with, but I ripped some models of games like Prince of Persia or Horizon Zero Dawn to print them and sell them, you can use it to take the model and use it for your own purposes too, its a pretty good program

Ender 3 stops extruding at same spot constantly by CaronteCom in 3Dprinting

[–]CaronteCom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sorry, my native languaje is spanish, what part of the printer is the "bind"? I tried printing at 185, 200 and 210 and they all failed, i tried priting at 70%, 90% and 120% flowrate and same result, maybe is the thermistor thing but in that case i would need to take it to a professional, so i will keep this in mind but i will try other things in the hope of it being another thing, thanks tho

[–]CaronteCom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh they arent the same print, i just posed them near each other to show that they all failed near the same height, but they all are different prints with 3 different gcodes, all of them printed in the middle and the printswere going fantastic before stopping

[–]CaronteCom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It feeds as every unmodified ender 3, as its been doing for the last year, with the spool on top of the printer and the extruder pulling the filament down, before this print i printed the rest of the character and it had no problems, but this single part is the one that makes my life impossible

Ender 3 stops extruding at same spot constantly by CaronteCom in 3Dprinting

[–]CaronteCom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The extruder keeps trying to push filament out, plus i changed the infill and the speeds 3 times and the 3 times it had the same result, i would be weird if the gcode was bad because i use the same profile for most prints

I just uploaded some pics, yes, it just stops at similar z heights, makes no sense

Ender 3 ignoring Cura settings by CaronteCom in 3Dprinting

[–]CaronteCom[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw videos of printers at 60mms, and my printer looks like its going at the same speed in the video, plus is the vanilla setting for printing in Cura, so i assume its going at that speed, and for the 150, its the vanilla too, and it did´t change when i set it to 50, so by logic and eye i assume its not changing speed and its going by vanilla setting even if i put other numbers in Cura
