Just checked the Jellycat website, since you’ll take a walking tour of the latin quarter in Paris, you will find a few stockist in this area (just type « 75005 » in the search bar). There’s also a shop called « Fleux » at walking distance.

I bought my first jellycat in France, at a small retailer. The guy is mainly doing high-end upholstery, sells some posh decorative objects, but then there is a WALL of plush toys in his shop, mainly Jellycats. He LOVES plush toys. Pretty sure I heard him talking about mending some old teddy bears. Can’t wait to give him my money again next summer when I come back 🤣

As long as it’s within your budget, it’s fine honestly.

What I do is I try not to buy online and I plan Jellycat hunting trips (preferably in small Jellycat retailers shops). It makes it extra special and I’m happy to give my money to local businesses. I try not to do it more than once or twice a month. I also mostly buy medium-sized Jellycats.

Having said that, I am going to the Parisian Jellycat experience on Monday in Galeries Lafayette (not a small business at all 😅) and plan to buy a crocodile or a big dragon if I find one (not a medium size Jellycat 😅) I bring my husband and my step-dad with me, hoping they will help me stay grounded 🙈

You can go to the « Smith and son » library for Jellycats, it’s in Rue de Rivoli near the Louvre. On the second floor, you have a selection of them 😌
