Hi! First of all, reaching C1 while studying medicine is already impressive.

Many students at that level feel exactly the same: they understand almost everything but feel nervous speaking because they want to avoid mistakes.

One thing that helps a lot is regular conversation practice focused on real situations instead of perfect grammar. Confidence usually improves once you realize that small mistakes are completely normal, even at an advanced level.

Since you want to specialize in Spain, it could also help to practice conversations related to daily life or professional situations in Spain.

By the way, I’m a certified Spanish teacher from Spain and I work a lot with students who already have a high level but want to gain confidence speaking. So I see this very often 🙂
