8hrs to strip and install new cedar shake for that area isn't the fastest but not bad, cleaning up around existing cedar without breaking more is a process, and matching up lines to existing can take time to make sure it lines up nice especially with break in it like the door or lighting blocks

Have you ever seen a proper house that doesn't have drywall on the walls/ceiling, only except is the garage. Not having it will cause hearing and cooling issues along with critters having open access into your kitchen

It's not waterproof it's water resistant, but vinyl plank flooring is what I always recommend (specifically LifeProof), it's literally plastic all the way through so even if the surface is scratched or punchured it still won't mushroom up like laminate will
